iRobot 4000 Roomba Robotic Cleaner

It does a fantastic job cleaning those dog/cat hairs and I have now had three wore one out...also purchased two for my daughters but we all continue to use other cleaner(dyson)the negative is that the batteries don't have a long life period and the filters which you must change get to be expensive. Hope this helps those of you who are considering a purchase....start with the lower end models.

This thing is great to have it cleans up two rooms in 45 min and you dont have to move at all. its a little noisy and could use the laser walls to keep them in the room you want them in instead of puting stuff in the doorways. but still a great investment in laziness.

I should have bought this machine years ago!!!! Great for people like me with a bad back. Really cleans thoroughly. Just turn it on and it does it's own thing. My doxies aren't happy with it but Doxie Mom sure is.

This has to be one of man's all time greatest inventions (atleast for women!). This vacuum out preforms my old heavy vacuum hands down! And I don't have to spend my time pushing it around. Just watch it around loose things like curtains and rugs. Now if they just came up with a robotic lawn mower I would have it made!

I was excited to get this. The previous owner obviously took very good care of it. The battery life is surprising (it cleans my entire 24' X 20' carpeted living on one charge) and it picks up everything.

The only thing I would suggest is to buy the optional sensors that keep it in one room. I have to "babysit" it since I have an open floor plan and I usually only want it to clean one room at a time.

Some have said they have bettery issues with it, but so far mine works fine.

We purchased a new battery and downloaded the comsumer guide, which was not sent, and it has never worked. I am very disappointed.
