iRiver T60 (4 GB) Digital Media Player

I purchased this unit so that I could record convention talks. I loved the compact size and the sound clarity. It uploaded recorded data very nicely into Windows Player version 11. I don't like a few of things about it, though. (1) This unit uses up a AAA battery every 1.5 hours of recording time. I used good, fresh, brand new Duracell batteries. I expected more than this; (2) the volume cannot be adjusted during recording, which is really inconvenient; (3)each time you stop and start recording again, a new file is created, instead of continuing the same one; (4) The retail price of these units seem to me to be quite high. Overall, I am disappointed with the unit and will keep searching for one that performs better than this one.

irivers are great units very good sound and love having regular batteries which can be replaced as needed so I dont need to be tethered to computer to recharge the battery
