I bought this after seeing a friend with one. I liked his. So I bought mine. I knew it was a decent brand from doing some research. It has little complaints and I am very happy. I like the recording capability of voice and FM recording. And the quality of the recording is AWESOME. Ipod has nothing on iRiver in that area. It has a cool sleek design. The skin that comes with is made for light to little use. I busted mine after one day of use. The hard drive does take some time to find a song. But it doesnt take two minutes. As long as I hear the song, I am happy. Because that is what an MP3 player is for. We used it one day to play between shows at an event. The song playback was great!!! This is one of the best alternatives to an Ipod. You can't find anything better!!! My choice hands down.
