Awesome DVD player!

I love the design and functionality of the player. It's awesome too that it up converts to HDMI and 1080i resolution - makes for a more real movie experience! Sometimes the sound settings switch to dolby surround sound (which i don't have) but once you deactivate other speakers from the dvd player's sound settings menu, everything else works swimmingly. Definitely a recommended product for others to buy!

I bought Harmon Kardon surround system couple of weeks ago for my theater room which I have been 100% satisfied but it didn't come with a DVD Player which I then decided to shop for one on line Quality is great and crisp view. I recommend Harmon Kardon DVD Player to anyone.

This is the 2nd Harman Kardon DVD I have purchased form eBay. The first one was Harman Kardon DVD-101.
Both units arrived great, and they look almost brand new. DVD-101 and DVD-38 performances are similar for the general video interfaces. However, DVD-38 comes with the HDMI output that makes a significant difference in viewing high resolution DVDs.
Over all, I am very satisfied with Harman Kardon audio equipment. I have also purchased AVR 430 last month that makes everything play nicely.
Thanks to eBay, I have been buying equipment for last 10+ years, and I have been very satisfied with most of my purchases.
