.hack//QUARANTINE (Part 4) (PlayStation 2, 2004)

Fianlly we have the 4th game and the end of the hack series is here. The game continues where we left off in the 3rd game and also introduces a new server for you. The game elements have not changed at all since the first hack so you should know what to expect. The battle system and the dungeons have not changed much either. Fortunaltly, unlike the 3rd game, the story in this game is top notch and is in full motion from the very get go. You learn alot more about each of the character and also make some new and interesting friends at the end. If you have enjoyed the first three games then you will definalty enjoy this game. This game is a little longer than the first three and lasts around 25 hours. I would recomend this series to anyone who has an enjoyment for RPG's and a good story.

I enjoyed the game. But, unless, your an anime fan I wouldn't advise to getting this and only get this game if you've played the first three. If you haven't watched the anime then it won't make much sense as you play through the game and you also won't have as much fun playing it as you would if had seen it. also the it one of those games that is a bit odd and if you don't have a taste for it you might think it's slow and not worth your time. But none the less it is a very good game otherwise and is one of the best if not the best anime based game I've played.

I like the .hack games and anime, I couldn't find the game in any of my local game stores so i looked to ebay to find it. When it comes to any games or anime i can't find at the store Ebay will be my #1 search.

I intially bought the game because I had played others in the series. It is a fun game and is challenging at first but after playing for awhile you really get used to the battle systems and game play. I didnt like the tedious parts of the game but other than that it was very fun. When playing you really cant wait to move on in the storyline and some of the plot is very suspenseful. Although if buying this game it is wise to buy the earlier installements first so you can enjoy the game more fully. If you want a good storyline and a fun game to play this is the one for you.

The game was in great condition , no scratches and played great on my playstation 2. I would recommend this game and this seller to anyone.

Pros:

-Amazing and original story that builds up to a great conclusion
-Great character and enemy designs
-Great soundtrack
-Able to convert data from past volumes

Cons:

-Gameplay hasn't changed and is still repetitive
-Graphics hasn't changed and dungeon designes get repetitve after a while
-Must play the first three volumes to understand the story.

If you don't have the first three .hack games, I suggest you buy or rent them before playing this one. If you don't, you'd be at a level disadvantage and you would be confused with the story...

Volume four continues where the third volume left off. Providing a lot of story, it concludes the .hack series very nicely.

The graphics still haven't really changed, but the soundtrack is still something that's great to listen to...

The gameplay also hasn't changed and is still repetitve...

This game would last 20-25 hours and doing all the sidequests would take another 40-50 plus hours...

Overall, another great volume and an excellent conclusion.

To finish the collection. I haven't had time to play it much yet to see what I like or dislike about it.

This was for grandson, he is into most games had to have this one.

Came much faster than expected, and was in good condition when I opened it up. I haven't played it yet, I have the rest of the series to go through, but it definitely looks good.

.hack//QUARANTINE (Part 4)
The reason I bought this game is: 1.) I love the .hack series, and 2.)I couldn't find part 4 in stores anywhere.
The .hack games rock and its cool.

i liked the game i wanted to play it again, what did i hate? i hated that there was no anime disc, the game skipped i bought it cause i thouht i was getting the whole thing not some junk im now oing to have to reget it from somewhere else and hope for a better deal, hope it goes right this time

Great game, longest one i've played so far but there are some really cool side quests. Tough enemies if you try to speed through it

The game is really fun. It takes the same path as the other 3 .hack series but the monster seem stronger and you have to work a lot harder to beat the boss's. I have the other three games and I'm so glad I finally was able to complete the series. If you liked the first three games you're going to love this one, though the free DVD it comes with still leaves you hanging.

It was a difficult game to find. My son was looking for the complete game and manual in the original packaging. This was the last he needed in the series

Nothing new here, just more of the same. A pity: there was so much more potential than just switching color-palettes and upping the hit and life points of the baddies. I do believe the tougher monsters were in the previous chapters.
Still, no worse than prior chapters. Just so much none the better. Can you say, "Anticlimactic"?

I have been searching for this game for a while. I could not find it in any game shop close to me. However, I was easy to find it on e-bay. Just a couple of clicks and I had a list of about 10 people selling the game. I like to "Buy it Now" and that is what I look for when I seach on e-bay.

This was my very 1st purchase on e-bay and I have to say it was extremely easy and simple. The reason I decided to buy it on line is because it was an older game and no one carried it any more and the price I got it for was less then any where I could get it from.

I feel it was a secure purchase and I will consider buying again.

I bought the item as a gift so have not and will not be using it myself. I can't write a 100 word review for the reasons mentioned.

What I liked about using ebay was the easy way it was explained about how things worked and also the availability of products. I had looked in shops around my area for this particular game for my son. He had gotten the other 3 and couldn't find the final chapter of the game. I was so glad to see it on ebay and also the price was right. I think I had paid as much as $49.99 each, for the other games. With shipping I only paid approx. $23. So I saved money, found something I couldn't find in stores and made my son happy. What more could you want!

The pictuer shows what we thought we were buying! However, it is not the item we received. The matter was resolved with us getting a refund, but we are now a little worried about making other purchases.

Quarantine marks the 4th and final installation of the .hack series, and those who have played one or all of the previous installments should know the drill by now. That’s not to say that this isn't a good game, and I'd definitely recommend this title, however if this is your first foray into the .hack universe, pick up Infection, Mutation & Outbreak first.
