I was always a fan of Hans Zimmer, and when I saw The DaVinci Code I just fell in love with the score...I checked around and found the best price around on Half.com. It was a great buy with a speedy delivery, I couldn't be more satisfied.

The music ties to the movie so perfectly, and emotionally to each circumstance or scene. You couldn't have better music make you feel the heart wrenching and heart warming private moments, nor tragic scenes.
I am not a scholar, studied musical master, nor un-religious person and the theme of the movie really gives one pause and wonder, and along with that the score gives importance and reverence to each reference to the Magdalene, and gripping pain to torture, betrayal and death.
If you appreciate classical music, soothing and resonate strings and tender moving brass you, should enjoy this musical score.

) I purchased this CD because the music was composed by Hans Zimmer. I like any of his work. Deep, intense music. I've not seen the movie yet. I purchased it because Hans Zimmer composed it. Very good CD in my opinion.
