Everyone should read this book. Read it slowly, and then read it again and again. Even if some of the "new agey" things in it may turn some readers off, the basic premise of stepping out of the ego and viewing life from a different perspective is worth it all and I've seen it changing people's lives all around me as friends read this book.

I loved being opened and really seeing life the way it is. I am present so much more after reading this.

I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO CONTACT THE SELLER. THE BOOK WAS PAID FOR AT THE TIME OF THE ORDER, I REALLY WANT THIS BOOK. I'M QUITE DISCOURAGED AT THIS POINT.
CHANCES ARE NOT LIKELY AT THIS POINT THAT I WOULD CONSIDER ORDERING FROM EBAY AGAIN.

Was hard to get into at first - kept re-reading parts to make sure I got it but realized before too long that I didn't need to do that after all - Recommend!

The book arrived undamaged, that is always a plus in my book. I have absolutely no complaints and would buy from this seller again.

Its a difficult read - meaning you need to focus and think about what's being written. But, a wonderful book - love it. The awareness about the world's surroundings and even how I relate to my husband and children have been affected by the contents of this book. It provides the reader with choices that may not have been clearly recognizable before reading the book and on how we each deal with every situation in our life, how we move forward and how we can choose to make the world around us better.

My neighbor saw this on Oprah, was reading it and thought I might enjoy it. I'll be forever grateful.

I wanted this book for a present to a family member.
However, the seller never delivered, even if their ad
promised "Same day delivery". I have filed complaint
and requested a refund of my money; eBay wants me to
wait a month for it! This is the second time a book seller
has let me down - what gives, eBay?

Someone suggested I purchase and read this book. I finally gave in, and purchased this book. As I started to read it, I became more and more intrigued by what Mr. Tolle was saying. This book is a keeper!!

This book and the Power of Now have helped transformed my life into something I could have never imagined would be possible. This might sound strange, but I only recommend this book if you feel you have suffered enough. If you're happy with your life now, I do not recommend this book.

This book is profound and can deeply affect how you view and understand your life. It has caused me to be more accepting of situations and to take things in stride. I have a new awareness of how to be totally present and aware in the here and now. Some of the book was too abstract for me, but for the most part it is amazing and life changing if you are ready. I'm starting on my second reading now, and bought one for my husband, because everybody who is interested needs their own copy to mark up!

I never received this book and never had a response from the seller. It took two complaints before I received word back from e-bay that I would be refunded for this charge.

I had the book within a few days and it was in perfect condition. I would highly recommend ordering from them again.

This book was enlightening and well put together. I went through the book within the Oprah Book Club and the lessons he did along with the book was very good. I would tell anyone to get the workbook along with the book. It was an excellent book to help anyone go further within themselves.

I bought it because I am trying to deal with a life crisis. I lost my 28 year old son to an overdose a few months ago. I am looking for a reason not only to live, but to live my best life.
I know it will be a day by day struggle, as I am no stranger to loss. I recognize it as a universal phenomenon that is under estimated in it's impact.
The advice that Tolle suggests of living in the now is all important. It is truly all we have.
I fully intended to take the accompanying class on the Oprah website, but have been overwhelmed with work.
I'm sure I will refer to it often.

A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (2008). A very good read for anyone wanting to expand themselves or enlighten themselves to their real dreams and aspirations. I highly recommend you to read this book. Teaches you a lot. After finishing this book I returned to pursuing my life long goals. ***** 5-Star Book!! Magnificent!

I LIKE THE NEW WAY OF THINKING, WHICH I HAVE BEEN DOING FOR SOME TIME. ITS REFRESHING TO HAVE SUPPORT AND AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT THAT "ALL IS ONE" AND TRUTH IS WHAT ITS ABOUT, THAT THERE REALLY IS NO GOOD/BAD ONLY TRUTH WHEN EVERYTHING ELSE IS CLEARED AWAY. I BOUGHT THE BOOK FOR ITS KNOWLEDGE, TO REMIND ME WHAT I FORGOT, AND TO GET MORE UNDERSTANDING FOR THE TIME I AM IN THE MID-WEST, LEARNING VERY DIFFICULT GROWTH SPURTS. I GREW UP IN IOWA BUT SPENT MY ADULT YEARS UP TO 53 IN CALIFORNIA . UPON MY RETURN HERE I HAD NO IDEA HOW HARD IT WOULD REALLY BE. KINDA LIKE THE ALCOHOLIC WHO GOES BACK HOME, ALL THAT WAS NOT SETTLED OR ACKNOWLEDGED COMES FLYING UP LIKE DEMONS FROM THE PAST. THESE VOICES OF TERROR AS A CHILD RETURN AND START CUTTING ME DOWN WITH WORDS LIKE LIGHTNING TO THE HEART. THE PAIN, CONFUSION AND SELF-HATRED IS THERE JUST AS REAL AS IT WAS THEN. ONLY NOW I GET FLASH BACKS AS HOW IT GOT STARTED AND HOW ALL THE CHILDREN IN ME GREW INTO HAVE THERE OWN PERSONALITIES AND WHAT PURPOSE THEY SERVE TO PROTECT OR FEEL THE EMOTION PAIN, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL CONFUSION OF WHAT IS REAL. I CONTINUE TO DEAL WITH ALL THIS TO THIS DAY ALWAYS LOOKING FOR ANSWERS, WAYS TO HEAL AND GUIDANCE TO HELP MYSELF LOVE ME THE BEST I CAN, SO I CAN BE THE BEST PERSON I CAN BE, AND IN THIS WAY I FEEL I HELP THE UNIVERSE TO HEAL. ITS LIKE MICHEAL JACKSON'S SONG "THE MAN IN THE MIRROR". SO I BOUGHT THE BOOK FOR ALL THESE REASONS, AND AM LOOKING FOR NEW STRENGTH DAILY AS THERE HAS BEEN TIMES I REALLY FEEL LIKE TAKING MY JOURNEY, BUT DON'T AS I DO NOT WANT TO REPEAT THIS LIFE, AND I REALLY WANT TO GET IT....AND WALK IN THE LIGHT SEEING ALL AS LESSONS, LEADING TO THE NEXT LESSON , AND FEELING LIKE I DID WHEN I LIVED IN CA. the book is excellent so far.the book came in a very timely fashion and was as described.I reccomend this sellar.

The idea behind the book is similar to Awareness by Anthony De Mello. I encourage others to read that first.

Originally, I purchased this book for the live webcast on Oprah.com for the 10 session. Once I began reading this book I found it to exceptional and "on time" even though it was written sometime ago. The material is an easy read and quite phenomenal so that anyone could understand his teachings.

I recommended it too many even before I had completed the 10 webcast program. The purchasing price was great and I received it ontime for the next class. Again, this is a excellent manual for anyone who is ready to "awaken and re-awaken" to their divine purpose, here and now.

Unfortunately I had a hard time understanding the author while he read his book. As for the book itself, I felt it contained more of a "college course" type of information and format. "BIG WORDS" laced here and there which would make the NORMAL person uncomfortable. I had high hopes on truly enjoying the "enlightenment" that all of the hype suggested but no. BORED was all I could say this book offered me. SORRY to those of you who were truely ENLIGHTENED by its contents, guess I just wasn't ready.

This is a good book with excellent insight. If the world evolves to this way of being, it would be a wonderful place. During and after reading the book I tried to apply it in my life, but it was a struggle, and I gradualy fell back into my old ways of thinking. I hope I'll be able to read it again at another time and better transform from thinking to being.
