Jewels of the Sun, written by Nora Roberts and released by Jove books is the beginning to a wonderfully delicious trilogy.
Set in modern times, in this first novel we are introduced to the Gallagher siblings with the star this time being Aidan Gallagher and his roguish ways.
With their parents off in America the siblings are left as adults to take care of the family business, an Irish pub in the beautiful setting of rural Ireland.
In Jewels of the Sun, American Jude Murray sets off to Ireland to figure out what to do with her life. She soon finds herself intertwined with the Gallaghers' and all the magic of Ireland. To reveal too much about this story would be a crime therefore I leave you to your imagination and hopefully your interest in reading this book as it is well thought out, creative and just plain excellent.
Nora Roberts has this ability to write in such a way that actually puts you in this story, she does great justice for the tourist industry in Ireland as I now plan to visit there soon. I have thus far found the novels to be concise and easily followed with few slow spots.
This book has the same imaginative features as such previous books of hers like Enchanted and the Donovan Legacy. This is really a book for those of you who truly enjoy Nora Roberts' abilities and romance novels in general. I wasn't able to put it down until I completed it and I would highly recommend you read it if you enjoy such books. The up side is there is one new one in this trilogy called Tears of the Moon and there will soon be a third release as well.
