Pros:
Data/power USB cable all-in-one, compatible with nearly any USB port
Cons:
Could be a problem when traveling; might need a car adapter.
Recently, I lost my PSP power cable (slippery little devil). I didn't know what to do, because knowing the PSP, the power is short-lived. Just when I thought all hope was lost, I took a trip to my local game store.
Now, on the rack, there was a standard power cable. I thought, "Okay, good, found one. Let's get out of here." I decided to look around the rack, and I found another power cable, but this wasn't any ordinary power cable.
Basically, it was a USB Data/Power cable. You plug it into the USB port of your computer (or even your Wii or other game console, I kid you not), and then plug the power jack into the PSP. Also branching from the cord is a mini-USB jack for data transferral. This is extremely convenient for when you are doing a firmware update from your PC, or transferring a lot of data (like homebrew or something like that).
The nice thing about it is that it has the whole shebang in one package, and was only $10, as opposed to buying a standard $15 power cable.
So, if you've lost your power cable, and have a computer or game console with USB ports, buy this instead of the standard cable. It's very versatile and includes the mini-USB.
