Juno (2008, DVD)

Ellen Paige (JUno) is not able to express the full range of emotions for this role. She plays the feisty, rebellious teenager well but it stops there. I disagreed with the way the movie treated the subject matter,that I think is of grave importance, so lightly.

I bought this movie because I rented it when it first came out and I LOVED it! I buy MAYBE 2 movies a year...if that! This one had to be added to my collection for a few reasons! This movie has a combination of great stories, great acting and most importantly, has the ability to bring out a variety of emotions. This movie made me laugh hysterically and cry uncontrollably. The writing was great and the acting superb! This is a GREAT movie! ENJOY!

I decide to buy the movie juno because I had read a lot of reviews from the movie and all were saying that Juno was a great movie. I wasn't disappointed either when I watched the movie. I loved the music in the movie and the plot of the story! The only thing that I didn't like about the movie was the ending. It was almost in a way cutoff (I wanted more information). Overall it was cute, but yet a funny movie and I loved it!

It was a very good movie, it was funny, sad, and touching. I decided to buy it on ebay so I could get it cheaper. If you like comedies with a heart, this is the movie for you.

The ending threw me for a loop! I had no idea that it would end the way that it did! Everything worked out well for the pregnant young girl so I wouldn't recomend this movie to a teenager! In real life things don't always work out so well!

Enjoyable, light hearted comedy. Juno is delightful. A movie to watch over and over to pick up more of the well written lines in the script. Wonderful turn around ending.

Entertaining and funny. I'll want to see this movie several times. I love the main characters and the level of humor. Definitely a feel good flic that you never get tired of.

I went to see this movie w/ my bf & I laughed so hard I nearly fell off the theatre seat ~ the humor of Ellen Page as Juno, wow! I already have had to rent it once since I saw it the first time, so I knew I had to buy it - bc I know I'll be watching it alot! Lol! Uproariously funny, very relatable, human, I totally loved it & you will too!

I think this is one of the best movies this year. Its cute, funny, yet tackles some very serious subject matter. I think they are calling it "quirky". The word suits it well. I decided to buy it the first time I rented it. I really can't explain why I like the movie, there is just something about it.

My kids & I love this movie. Life lessons and much more. My oldest daughter 15 has watched this movie 3 times already & loves it. A must see for anyone.

The story is related to anyone with a brain, it deals with a teenage girl who gets pregnant but is not prepared to be a mother, there any parent's greatest fear. There is love, heart felt break ups, and a corky little girl who I can't see anyone not loving. If you have seen this film, its a must, don't go rent it, just buy it its that good.

This very well done movie is very much up to expectations. My wife and I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to anyone who likes to be entertained without computer generated, violent, obscene language scenes.

This movie kept me laughing almost the whole time...yet I did cry at the end. I would recommend this movie to anyone thinking about adoption or having gone through adoption...or anyone that enjoys a light hearted comedy!

Great comedy!! Involes real life situations with a comical side. Great acting, and story line. This one will definately be a classic! Easy to watch over and over again, laughing everytime.

Yup, Juno's having Paulie's baby after one brief encounter in a chair. Ellen Page fleshes out a nearly flawless part by alternating between her world of spewing teen slang and just being her age with heavy decisions of giving birth and finding loving adoptive parents. She does a pretty admirable job with the adult decisions-- yet shows her vulnerability, for example, when Paulie asks "stink eye" to the prom. After the baby's arrival, I was a little surprised by her ultimate decision. In fact, I had to replay it since I didn't expect that outcome. I'm still humming the theme--the tune, along with parts of the film made a lasting impression. It's a keeper!

A great movie that I can watch over and over.
Definitely one of my all time favorites.
My 12 year old loves it more than me.

A good movie but it's not for everyone. Yes I bought it. I wrote what I think is inportant I don't care to write more.

This movie is unbelievably funny. It's a cute story of a teenager named juno who accidently gets preggo. She decides right away to put the baby up for adoption. The movie basically follows her through her selection of a family for the baby and all the thrills of her pregnancy, not to mention her feels for the father of the baby. It's a really great movie and Ellen Page and Michael Cera play great parts.
