I Am Legend (2008, DVD)

Movie was extreme likeness of what we are heading toward. And also the hope that is always there. Will Smith was outstanding!

i realy hate will smith cant stand the guy now with that sead this was a good movie i look at it like this if a movie leves me wanting more it a good movie . buy it

I love sci-fi, so this movie is right up my alley. Will Smith plays the part very well in this mix of Last Man on Earth and Castaway adding in a little touch of Night of the living Dead added in. Best movie I have seen that was released this year (2008).

Will does a good job with the role. Not sure why, but there a few bits of the plot that left me wanting a bit more background on them. Great effects, but the script was a little shy of character development. But overall, a fun movie to watch.

I didn’t have much hope for I Am Legend, but I’ve got to say I enjoyed it. Certainly not as good as it could have been, but a decent time on my couch. Smith is solid, not half bad action and suspence although it could have been a bit shorter since the film starts to slowly loose your attention after the first hour. Still… not a bad film. Overall I give I Am Legend a 7 out of 10.

I LIKED THE PRICE,DIDN'T CARE FOR THE MOVIE IT'S JUST NOT MY TYPE OF MOVIE.I LIKE THAT IT WAS NEW,I THINK THE ACTOR'S IN THIS MOVIE ARE TOP NOTCH BUT THE PLOT MOVED TOO FAST FOR ME AND WAS UNBELIVABLE

It was interesting, and it kept me and my wife in suspense. I brought it for my wife because she wanted to see it, we watched it together and she liked it.

well the movie was overall not nearly as good as i expected, i mean dont get me wrong its no trash flick, maybe its just the whole zombie thing is wore out..either way its a decent movie well worth renting and maybe buying ,,{if you can get it for under $12

Based on the orginal novel I thought this movie followed quite closely. Will Smith played a fine part as the only real actor in the entire movie. Not an easy feat to carry the bulk of a movie alone. If any of the "zombie" type movies appeal to you then this one is a watcher.

This is by far the best movie based on the novel. Will Smith deserves an award for his acting. Considering his main co-star is a dog, his ability to express himself without a human counterpart is beautiful to watch. I am a harsh critic of movies, and I'm not one necessarily fond of Smith as anything more than 'fun'. This movie is an excellent demonstration of acting as a craft. I thought the movie was frightening. I don't get frightened easily by films, and can't stand the cheap "go for the obvious" thrillers. This is on a par with "Sixth Sense", but on a bigger stage, and a lot of impressive special effects. Buy it cheap on Ebay, you can't go wrong.

i bought the dvd because i like "will smith",his movies have always been something special for myself and my greatgrand children.i was very disapointed,the reviews were better than the movie.i had no idea what was going on,except a whole lot of killing.not so good for kindygardners.i feel like i wasted my money.

great movie considering it was a copy they sold me not original dvd so be careful when buying dvds on ebay or any where else. Other then that it was a great movie I love Will Smith

THIS MOVIE WASN'T WHAT I EXPECTED. I READ THE BOOK AND IT WAS TOTALY DIFFERENT. BUT IT WAS ACTULLY BETTER THAN THE BOOK. BUT ITS A MOVIE YOU WOULD ONLY WANT TO WATCH ONCE.

I thought it was a great movie about the future effects of removing one bad thing that plagues many to even worse after . Movie was action packed and story line was very good too. i feel it`s worth buying or renting (i prefer to buy dvds because once you watch it a second time you see things you missed the first )and it`s worth it . watch the movie and judge for yourself , you just may feel like seeing it again like myself . enjoy

I loved this movie when I first saw it. That is the reason why I wanted my own personal copy to add to my movie collection. The suspense is high and Will Smith's excellent performance keeps you interested to the very end. Speaking of end, I didn't like the way it ended, but I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it yet. It's the kind of movie that you don't mind watching again and again!

Wonderful special affects...shocking monster scenes.....really enjoyed this movie but dissapointed on how short it was.

I bought the DVD I am Legend as a gift for a friend. We went to this movie and I walked out (I did not like the movie) he came with me and I wanted him to be able to see the end of the movie. The product I bought was exactly as advertised. Thank you very much, I have no complaints.

The special effects were top notch and Will Smith is entertaining in this action packed remake of the Omega Man. This an exciting edge of the seat sci-fi / horror film that has great visuals and a decent plot. IMHO

I bought the movie because after the first time watching it, I wanted to see it again. I didn't rate it excellent, but it was very good--enjoyable and engaging. I've watched it 4 times so far and continue to notice different subtleties I missed at first, back when the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. I now think of the story now more of a message to humans and our continual decline as a society. It's a fast paced movie, good story construction, excellent subject matter. I didn't care a lot for the present-time/flashback switches, but perhaps that was necessary to build the suspense.

i did not like this movie . the plot sucks it just like cloverfield.something always happening in nyc.they didnt get to the plot to later. depressing

This is the third version of this story. I have the 2nd, Omega Man with Charlton Heston and I'm told there is an original version although I have never seen it. I have been a big fan of Omega Man since the first time I saw it as a kid. It was released in the early 70's. This 2008 version blows it away as far as CG effects, which is expected. The movie drags a bit in parts but when the action kicks in it's worth the wait. Some people I know were unhappy with the ending but they had not seen Omega Man & were't prepared for it. Being a worst case scenario person, I hate a happy ending so I welcomed it. I like Will Smith, he's no Denzel but I like him just the same. This is worth a watch. Ciao

I Am Legend dvd I got first turned out... is bootleg, made from China which do not have with closed caption and subtitle english. Second time, I Am Legend dvd is bootleg again (damn made in China again). And third time, I Am Legend, dvd final I got real and watched it whole. It do have with closed caption and subtitle. And yes, it made in USA!

I think this is one of Will smith best movie, and i am not a real big fan of his, but after watching this movie it will change your mind about his acting Ability.
