I Am Legend (2008, DVD)

I was not very sure about this movie, yet after watching it I cannot say that it is one of my top 25 of all time, but it does get by in my top 100. It is rather like a modern version of Castaway which had Tom Hanks. If you like those kind of movies, you will love this one. I like movies with aliens in it as well, and this movie had similar characteristics to an alien flick.

I loved this movie it was very good i had see a commercial advertising it and never got a chance to see it in theaters! so i bought it when i saw it on Ebay! it came in satisfactory "Perfect" condition! With a very fast shipping time and i have watched it over and over enjoying it every since! Along with a few other good titles i received after purchases i made on Ebay! great movie--keeps you on the edge of your seat. Did not like when the dog died. Will Smith is a great actor.

I purchased this title because of who it stared! Thinking that it would be another great movie! But to my disappointment, this movie was lacking alot!! I find that, in todays movies they seem to be in to much of a rush to get to the payday... NoT allowing enuff insight to the actual movie and what it should bring to the viewer.

I watched this movie a month ago, and this is one of those movies in which you will love to be on top of your collection. Everything about this movie you will love and enjoy. The action, the thrills, the parts that will freak any horror-lover. It touches the inner side of any human, that even though we wish at some point to be alone, we cannot be alone, and that sanity and insanity borders on loneliness. This Will Smith movie is promising to excite those who love action, drama, horror and comedy. I fully recommend this DVD for every home. What I did not like about this movie is the fact that Will Smith took his own life, but you must see it to know why he did. Like I said before, this should be on top every collection of movies, so I decided to make my purchase.

The movie was not as exciting as I had thought it would be. Rather long in some places, but I did enjoy the movie despite it. Computer generated people and animals could be more lifelike.

I recommend this movie, I am not a fan of sci fi movies and I don't like scary ones but I wanted to give this a try. I didn't regret it. I thought it had a lot of emotion aside from the action and suspense. I laughed, I cried and I accidently screamed, I really liked everything except the end, I thought it could have ended better. All in all don't be afraid to see this, it will stick with you long after it's finished.

I love this movie. I'm a big fan of Will Smith anyway,but this is one of his best. The scene of him with his dog will break your heart if your a dog lover and the way they handled it was oscar worthy. They didnt have to show what was happening, the look on Smiths face was enough to say everything without words. The special affects were also outstanding. New York without people was done very realisticly I think.

The trailer for the movie was much better than the movie itself. Not to say the movie wasn't good, because for the most part I thought it was a awesome flick. Will Smith delivered the part well. His acting has become rather impressive compared to the acting from the 'Prince of Bel Air' days, but then again he didn't have to say much because he IS the only man left alive in NYC. Even with hardly any dialog he did well enough that you almost didn't realize he was hardly talking, and when he did speak it was to his dog. For the most part this movie came through with all the expected elements; suspense, curiosity and intensity. I would recommend this to anyone that is home at night and has a couple hours to kill.

This sellar is fraudulent, clearly the DVD's are NOT BRAND NEW!. The Cover on the dvd is a poorly cut out picture and there is no paperwork inside the DVD. It is sealed but, not factory sealed.

I was worried at first because it was a used DVD. But who ever had it took good care of it and the movie look great. Clear picture and good sound.

This was a horrible movie. Don't waste your money. Will Smith's worst movie yet. My son wanted this movie, so I bought it. Even he didn't like it.

A very good movie remake of a book that's been done now 3 times. I remember "The Omega Man" with Charlton Heston from my younger days. This is similar in theme but a surprisingly different version and a nail biter. Only thing not so good is the monsters where obviously computer animated. Not too scary when they look so unreal. SPOILER ALERT.... I hated they killed Samantha.

Movie was extreme likeness of what we are heading toward. And also the hope that is always there. Will Smith was outstanding!

I love sci-fi, so this movie is right up my alley. Will Smith plays the part very well in this mix of Last Man on Earth and Castaway adding in a little touch of Night of the living Dead added in. Best movie I have seen that was released this year (2008).

Will does a good job with the role. Not sure why, but there a few bits of the plot that left me wanting a bit more background on them. Great effects, but the script was a little shy of character development. But overall, a fun movie to watch.

I didn’t have much hope for I Am Legend, but I’ve got to say I enjoyed it. Certainly not as good as it could have been, but a decent time on my couch. Smith is solid, not half bad action and suspence although it could have been a bit shorter since the film starts to slowly loose your attention after the first hour. Still… not a bad film. Overall I give I Am Legend a 7 out of 10.
