Matt Damon is back at it again! Another Great Movie!

Matt Damon has created a series of great movies being Jason Bourne! The third is no exception! Another action packed movie takes Bourne back to where it all starts. They show his flash backs to where he was accepted into the program as an agent. Hes goes back to take revenge on those who have tried to get rid of the evidence (including him) of the super secret program. Jason Bourne aamazes you with not only his action moves but his quick and creative thinking like a true secret agent! Highly Recommend the entire series! Hope for another one soon!

it was a good movie, great action, though the ending leaves much to the imagination. The movie continues with the typical bourne style fighting, car chases, etc.

Matt Damon turns in another stellar performance as Jason Bourne, the government black ops agent suffering from amnesia, who wants out of the game. Once again, Bourne travels the globe in his efforts to evade the government who trained him to kill. This thriller is packed with action and by the end of the movie, you wonder if there may be a fourth episode in the future. Excellent entertainment.

I had seen the previous Bourne series, so I was excited to see the last one. Matt Damon does an excellent job in his role as an amnesiac spy. He has amazing abilities yet shows his humanity, too. The change of locations makes for a great feature of the Bourne trilogy; Russia (actually Berlin), Paris, Morocco, and NYC are featured in this movie.

  Best Bourne film yet.

After eagerly awaiting the release of the last of the trio, I was thoroughly entertained. This story, while not perhaps being the "ultimate" story for Jason, was brilliant. Nothing was lost by the ending, which typifies the strenght of story line and main characters.

  Bourne Excellence

Being the third movie in a series, you are always skeptical that it will be as good as the first two. This one did not disappoint me. I sat on the edge of my seat for the entire movie. I absolutely loved it.
I bought this movie, because I own the first two Bourne movies and I love to watch them again.

  More of the Same
Review created: 02/04/08
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

We enjoyed watching this Bourne as much as the other two with one exception: once you saw the other two this is pretty much the same even though the story line is somewhat different. Far too much chasing and other time wasting scenes. When you do not have a story to tell take up space by inserting chase scenes. They were o.k. but not much more than that.

Great movie. Unfortunately, there were three or four points during the movie that the DVD paused/skipped over parts of the movie. Overall, I am okay with the purchase. The old axiom that you get what you pay for is usually right.

Review: 9/10 rating

There are 2 things that make the Borne Series worth watching. One is the tremendous, moving, non-stop action and special effects. The second is Jason Bourne’s (Matt Damon) undeniable desire to learn the truth and exact revenge on his adversaries.
It is Bourne’s internal struggle, admirably portrayed by Damon that makes these films something other than trite spy movies. In Ultimatum, Damon and Bourne are at their action-paced best.

The movie begins immediately after Bourne apologizes to Neski's daughter. Wounded from the Bourne Supremacy car chase, Jason Bourne is still evading the Moscow police. Cornered by two officers while breaking into a medical clinic to treat his wounds, Bourne overpowers the officers and leaves them alive as he escapes, saying his argument is not with them.

The story continues six weeks later when Bourne goes to Paris to tell Marie's brother Martin of her death. Bourne heads on to London by train and reads an article in The Guardian where journalist Simon Ross describes Jason Bourne as a CIA officer. Bourne arranges to meet Ross in London at Waterloo station. Ross, however, is under surveillance because his use of the word "Blackbriar" in a phone call to his editor was tracked by ECHELON, alerting the CIA. After receiving a phone call from Bourne, Ross drives to Waterloo Station and is followed by the CIA, who believe him to be meeting his source there. At the station, Bourne sees CIA officers following Ross and places a prepaid mobile phone on him; through it, Bourne instructs the frightened journalist on how to dodge the station's surveillance, while knocking out the CIA agents attempting to kidnap Ross. However, CIA official Noah Vosen who heads Operation Blackbriar (a renamed Treadstone proposed by Ward Abbott at the end of The Bourne Identity), orders an assassin named Paz to kill Ross and his source. Vosen's team identifies Bourne on a security camera and recognizes him as the original Treadstone assassin, assuming he must be Ross's source. Bourne advises Ross to remain hidden, but Ross panics and reveals himself, giving Paz a clear killing shot. In the ensuing chaos, Bourne steals Ross's notes from his body; the notes reveal Ross's source as Neal Daniels, the CIA's Madrid station chief.

Deputy Director Pamela Landy is asked to help capture Bourne. With Landy's help, Vosen and his team realize that Daniels is Ross's source. They decide to send a team to Daniels's office in Madrid, but Bourne arrives first, finding only one photograph in the otherwise empty safe. Bourne attacks the CIA team when they enter the office. Just as Bourne finishe

BOURNE - NOTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE SAID
Review created: 01/26/08
by:

OTHER THAN THAT YOU HAVE TO START WITH THE FIRST ONE (BOURNE IDENTITY) AND THEN THE 2ND (SUPREMACY) FOR THEM TO MAKE TOTAL SENSE, BUT IF YOU RANDOMLY WATCHED ONE YOU MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY LOST IN THE BIGGER PLOT BUT ENTERTAINED ENOUGH TO NOT CARE.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: THE ORIGINAL NOVELS BY THE LATE ROBERT LUDLUM. THEY'RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN THE FILMS - I THINK THE NAMES OF THE PRINCIPLES AND THE FACT THAT BOURNE IS A CIA AGENT AND SOME OTHER BASICS ARE THE SIMILARITIES - BUT I LOVED THE FILMS AND LOVED THE NOVELS. SO WHAT IF YOU NEVER HEAR OF THE VILLAIN CARLOS IN THE FILMS, THEY'RE BOTH AWESOME IN THEIR OWN RIGHT.

Bourne doing what he does best again
Review created: 01/26/08

In this movie, bourne discovers how and why he choose to become Jason Bourne. This movie features lots of high intense action, super intense heat thriller, a mystery, and adventure. Yet again Bourne has to run from the government and he does it. If you enjoy watching Jason Bourne at his best running, killing, etc. Then you should watch this, very exciting!
