Motorola C168i (AT&T)

So far the phone is working out well. I haven't figured out how to lock the keys but since I bought it as a spare for my teenager... She can figure that out.

I really like the phone...The colors are great.....The weight of the phone is light..The battery life is good. I like the features. The volume is loud and i need that with a 2 year old.

I bought the NewPhone a month ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

First off, this phone is very small. You forget it's in your pocket. It gets amazing reception even when on road trips. I can't think of a time I've gotten a dropped call or missed a call from not having reception and I drive a lot. This is so much better than many of the more expensive phones offered now. Only suggestion is to buy a ringtone. The stupid at&t standard ringtone is pretty annoying. It comes with I think 10 ringtones, which are all pretty equally corny. All and all though, you can't lose buying a phone of the quality for this price.

This is a great phone. You're not going to find a better one for under $30.00 for sure. It is very basic. You can get on the internet through MediaNet and download ringtones and wall papers for free or cheap. You can even email yourself wallpapers you find on the internet to your web mail account and then download off of gmail or yahoo mail straight from your phone. If you want a lot of bells and whistles, don't buy this phone. If you want a great priced, reliable basic phone, buy it. I got it as a backup and use it as my main phone now.

Phone is at a good price. I purchased it because my old phone was broken. It is not very usuer friendly, and doesn't have many features. Expected more.

The phone isnt the quality phone i was hopeing for. it was a GO PHONE. you can get them anywere for like 9$ than you dont have to pay shipping and handeling. The seller is very rude and not helpful. the phone is half the weight of a NORMAL phone, so how can it be as good. You have to sign up for an AT and T prepaid phone account to ACTIVATE it before you can use it. I havent yet got mine to work, but ive heard it has horrible reception, if any alot of the time.

I bought this phone because I had broke my previous flip phone. I thought I would like the slim flat design and it would accept my SIM card from my previous phone.

I loved the phone at first because unlike my previous phone the speaker volume was much better. The problem to me was the flat design exposes the keyboard and causes numerous inadvertent key strikes. I can lock the keyboard but that's aggravating and time consuming. It's easy to lock the keyboard...but it seems to take 2, 3, even 4 attempts to unlock....

Texting "seems" more cumbersome but to be fair to the phone it may be that I was familiar with my previous phone.

Another thing I don't like about the flat face ...it allows the LCD to be scratched to easily ...but that could be solved by having a phone holder that protects the face but doesn't block the keys. A flip phone solves that problem but my last phone (we had four of them) kept breaking at the hinges .

Lastly...this phone has short battery life between charges. To me this is the worst feature of the phone . I have literally had to charge this phone twice in one day...and I don't use it that much...I never had to charge my previous phone more than once every three days. Most times I can go 2 days with this phone and occasionally three...vs my previous phone which often needed only one charging a week.

This cell phone was totally misrepresented by the seller. It is a go phone that can be purchased at any Walmart for $12.88. I have very little experience with cell phones and thought I was getting a good deal. When it first arrived there was no battery- then he sent the battery and sims card.. So it was 10 days getting it in working condition. Then friends pointed out that I could have gotten it anywhere that they sell "go phones " with the lowest price being $12.88 and the highest $19.99. $35.99 was to much. It is a cheat!I fell totally duped. I would not buy from him again. I will be much more cautious when buying form now on.

cheap! But have found it for less recently in a couple brick and mortar stores. Good phone, kinda small and hard to handle and see but it makes a good throw away!

I lost my last phone, which was really nice, had a camera, speakerphone and other things. I can't say this phone has a lot of 'extras,' but I sure didn't want to spend a lot of money, and this phone allowed me to do that.

Very cheap phone and you can buy it less at Wal-Mart. If you are wanting a phone just to get you buy until you get a new one in, that's the phone you want. Very, very basic.

This phone is a go phone. I have seen them all over the place for 12.99. I paid around 35.00, (money down the drain). After receiving the phone it worked for only 2 weeks, so I contacted the seller and he told me to go to an At&t dealer to put me out of convience, the people at At&t gave some form and phone # to call, again another inconvience! I still haven't gotten a new phone! I have to borrow my Mother's until I can upgrade in June 08. This is the only bad experience I have ever had on e-bay. Everything else has been great!

I bought this phone out of past experience with motorola phones. I was severely dissapointed with the quality of reception and how the quality of sound came out of the handset. the ad said it was as good as a razr, not so I was not impressed. Cheap but, not good quality.

Go Phones can be purchased at local discount club stores for less than $20.00. Wish I had known that. I've seen these phones sell for $60 + shipping on ebay. Basic phone. No Flash. Must lock keys so phone doesn't dial numbers while in pockets or purse. Keep reciept of purchase because At&T will shut off phone and you have to prove where you purchased phone. This took me many hours of phone time & sitting in the local store front. Hopefully, as more people purchase these phones At&T will make the transition easier. They don't encourage customers to use this phone because it is inexpensive, no contract but they have no choice. Phones will work when you put in your sim card but they will be shut down. It took me 3 days for At&T to figure it out and turn it back on.
Good basic phone for $20.00 I wouldn't pay more.

I bought it to give to my 14yr old grandson. I love it because he has limited use, and must earn the minutes to keep it active. Today in this age range, I see children with phones on family plans, and failing grades, they do not earn what they want. I am a grandmother of 16, and a great grandmother of 2, and I am a firm beleiver, that children should have want they really need, and earn what they what. With school grades an A or B average, (all year, not just at Christmas)earns them what they would like to have. I call it a "Grandma Lesson" in life. Quess what, it works!
