Sony PlayStation 2 - Game console - black

I purchased this PS2 for my daughter for Christmas. It was said from the seller to be in very good condition...IT WAS ANYTHING BUT THAT. I paid $100 for a machine that rarely plays the game, unless you open and shut about 10 times, and none of the original pieces came with it. It was taped together, with a lot of damage and the paddles don’t stay plugged in on the back of the system. I could have bought a brand new system for $150.00...I don't know what I was thinking...trying to save a little money at a time that was very tight for my family...I will never trust this person again, and probably never use eBay...My daughter was so happy when she opened it, only to be very disappointed when she found out it didn't work properly. Imagine the look on her face and the disappointment in my heart! Thanks for nothing.

I just bought a play station 2 it is great fun and you can get rock band for it if you are on a budget and cant afford a ps3 or xbox 360

what caught my atention was the simplicity but accurate description on the item and his honesty, the product like he said was used but if he wouldn't say it I could have bought it for a new system, clean, beautiful, he was very fast shipping the item and I simply feel that I got lucky on winning this item for my daughter.Looking forward to do more bussiness with him.

This a wonderful game console, it has a lot of features, games, entertainment fun , and if you don't like to play you can watch movies....It's just convenient....

Bought ps2 for my grandson, it did not work when I got it. Package not damaged, no answer to 2 of my emails. He said it worked when sent so eat it, also that I was a scam artist.Been burnt on Ebay 3 times now.

i was totaly amazed at the condition of this unit box was abused, but the unit was like brand new. no scratches at all. will buy from again. a pleasure to do business with. A+++ ebayer.

Came quickly! PS2 game system works great. Everything came as stated. The packaging around the unit in the shipping box was sparce. A few broken pieces from shipping on the game system box needed super glue. This didn't effect it's performance.

Bought a used unit. It worked for about 3 hours, then it won't read any programs. One of the remotes has to have tape over the battery case. Because it did work when I received it, I guess I am just out about my money.

small problems with the start up but fixed and have had no problems since. The machine works good and my children are using it since christmas. The accesories also work fine and we hope that the machine works fine for at least the next twelve months.

well first off this ps2 takes a long time to load the game and start the game up. if i have a disk in it takes so long that it will go to the menu that says browser system config. and stay on that for about 15 seconds and then it will finally start reading the disks. i have often had problems with it not reading the disk and i have to shut it off and wait five minutes and then turn it back on. sometimes it will also just stay on a black screen. one major problem i have had with it is that during the game at any time it will stop reading the controllers. they will be tightly in the socket and the game will still be going but if i hit any button it will not work. this has happened with all five of my controllers and i know they are not bad becasue they work fine in my other ps2. the version of the ps2 is not even up to date at all. it is version 1.10 and my other ps2 which i got used and got about 4 years ago is version 1.32 . the games play ok but freeze often. and sometimes it won't save the games. i got this ps2 as a gift from the purchaser. and theese are my reviews

My husband has one & my son loves playing it so much I decided that's what's Santa is bringing him. I love the fact that not only can you play PS1 games on this system, but DVDs & Cds as well. My husband & I have spent many quality hours playing different games against each other. Now my kids have picked up the tradition. I don't see it as a way for kids to zone out, since my children a very active outdoors. I believe the Playstation consoles teach hand-eye coordination. It's also a great way to pass rainy or very cold days when children can't get outside & become very antsy or hyper. The Playstation consoles are the only consoles I enjoy & recomend.

I love the PS2. I would honestly marry one if the stupid Maryland State Government and my mother didn't forbid me from doing so..........
