Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (Playstation 3)

This game is totally awesome. I have it 4.5 out of 5. Only reason why I wouldn't give it a 5 is because you cannot fully modify cars like in other games, but GT5 beats all those games!

Visually stunning and perfect with the GT Wheel. The whole family is having a blast. Split screen racing is real kick....A+

This is by far the best racing game ever. The full game is going to be insane. However, charging 40 for this demo is a crime. I remember when Gran Turismo 2 was due out soon, I got a demo for free. I have some complaints about the game that I hope are only in this demo. One is there is no longer a tune shop to upgrade the car or a place to buy new rims. Also, no more mileage on the cars and no more oil changes. Instead of buying parts for the cars to upgrade there is some really lame quick tune option where you can just lower or raise the HP and the weight and you are given a score which as far as I can tell has no real meaning. Now, I am sure you are wondering why I rate this game the highest rating I can... The game play and realism of the racing, the absolutely stunning cars (especially the Ferrari's and the new GT-R), true to life sound fx, and the incredibly life like tracks are so amazing that it made me forget about all the things I did not like. And besides, its a demo and I am sure the full game will have a lot more. So really my only real complaint is that it cost $40. If your like me and you couldn't wait, then buy the demo but don't expect much more then a demo.

This game has great graphics, The racing is very realistic. I was disapointed that there was no damage to the cars. I got to About the 10th race and could not beat it after at least 10 trys and havnt played since. I'm not horrible at racing games so this confused me. Anyway This game is nothing special, I recomended Dirt or Need for speed pro street over this anyday.

i love the game and its online play.....the game runs smooth and the cars are sick.....im sure that the final version is gona be even better than the prolouge.....i cant wait......the game surprized me when it game me an extra even to play and that made it much better.....there are many boards the choose and the game is more than just a demo.....great game....

The game is great and the graphics are just amazing, also the sounds are as close as they are in the real world.

The only missing part are the damages, that makes the game looks unreal, but I think it's a policy of the manufacturers to avoid a view of the beatiful cars look like they will be in the real life, after all it's just a game of gorgeous landscapes and cars, and damage are not part of that.

Regarding the vendor, it arrived in just 7 days, half of the promised time.

First off, the graphics are phenominal! That's about it though. I really dislike the fact that you do not have a true "arcade" mode where you and a friend (that is sitting next to you and not online) can pick ANY of the cars to race each other. You are limited to the cars you have acquired in the game. That really SUCKS! If they had just left it like GT4 with the graphics, it would be an AWESOME game!!

Received the item late and was offered a shipping refund which was never received. communication has been very one sided without replies back. still waiting for the refund that was offered over a couple weeks ago. doesn't look good but i will change my review if it is received.

Great graphics and accurate sound. I race a Mini Cooper S and it sounds exactly like the one in GTP!

The whole racing community knows about the Gran Turismo series, it's the most popular racing game franchise ever and this installment will continue certainly enforce it. Over 70 cars and 6 tracks with 2 variations each to rack up the mileage until the full release of GT5. New to GT5 is online play, downside is some people out there apparently thinking it's a carnival and they having some fun in the bumper cars and alot of sore losers who quit the race if they see losing the only option and spoils the race for all if they were the host.

AWESOME GAME. THE GRAPHICS OF THE GAME ARE ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME. WOULD DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH THE SELLER. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO SEE MORE OF THE OTHER CARS FROM THE PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF GRAND TURISMO BUT OVER ALL I GIVE IT A GOOD FIVE OUT OF FIVE.

The game is the closest as you can get to real racing. Graphics are great but cars and tracks are very limited. After beating the game it will get a little boring but you can always buy cars to drive around tracks to see how its like. Overall its a good game but nothing special.

all the things i can say about this game are all positive. Too bad its just a prologe. Cant wait for the real deal to come out!

if you're into cars this game is perfect. i've been getting this series for years now and it has never disappointed me. the graphics are just unreal...or should i say, to real!

the graphics are great but the control still needs help. i give it a 7 out of 10. maybe next time the can put more consentration on the controls.

Wow. I really don't think words can describe the graphics. They are truly outstanding. Online is something to try in your spare time; it just ins't Gran Turismo's high point. If you played GT4 you'll probly say, "Where did all the cars go?!?!". If you didn't then you'll say, "Wow! Look at all the cars!!!". But if you are looking for the whole tune up junk, then this is not the best game for you. Tracks have blew me away.

Now for some not so good features of the game. In multiplayer you can only use the cars you have bought or have won in the 'Events' or on online racing. Also your only rival in multiplayer is player two. No computers. Also its only 2 player. I can understand that. (The graphics and physics are too good for alot of players to be flipping' and spinning' around)

Remember staying up all night racing track after track, customizing your car till it can go no faster, trying to squeeze every last pony out of your engine? well those days are over. GT5 has truly failed in my book. sure the visual is amazing, but what happen to the best part of the game? CUSTOM CARS AND PARTS!!! there is very little selection of cars and no selection of parts. i say again, NO SELECTION OF PARTS!!! so if you wanna drive a bone stock Suzuki cappichino at a wopping 85 mph in a sub standard track but be amazed on the detail then call me, i'll give you my copy for free. out
