Planet Earth/The Blue Planet: Seas of Life (2007, DVD)

Every home should own these. Never before have I seen such amazing photography and cinematography of the entire planet and its oceans! Worth every penny no matter how much you pay. The research & information the BBC has accumulated over a 10 year span is overwhelming but can be taken in again & again & again from the comfort of your own living room. Although evolution is mentioned throughout, you definitely have to ponder intelligent creation after observing the planet's intricate balances and designs. Absolutely wonderful! Highly, highly recommended!

Simply put, this DVD set which includes the Planet Earth and Blue Planet series is amazing. 10 discs of the series which have been aired on TV plus many, many hours of additional behind the scenes footage. After watching just a few episodes I realized how beautiful our planet is. It is truly incredible.

All of the rave and reviews of this documentary did not do it justice. Words cannot explain the true magnitude of the actual pictures and action captured. It far exceded every expectation that I had of it.

I would receommend it to every family to at least rent it and view if not able to purchase.

These DVD's will definitely change the way you see your plante. I was blown away by the amazing videography. I love these DVD's they are a fantastic teaching tool!

I don't watch much TV but like nature documentary I actually had 5 disc of this set but the price was cheap enough that I could just buy both and give the other set away. I like the information it has in it and the photography. I decided to buy it because I saw parts of it at my sister-in-laws house and wanted to get it for myself.

Love the scenery, nature, and how it was all captured on fill. Some breath taking shots. Some of the stuff, I don't know how they were able to capture it on film.

The cinematography for this documentary is amazing. There are so many things you learn about the different parts of the natural world. There are amazing results of natural processes that you would never see anywhere else but on this DVD set. It is educational, but I am never bored with it. I love it!

Got both series. These are some of the finest natural history components for a television series ever produced for television. These set a high standard that will remain for a long long time, and become classics for generations to come.

These movies are beautiful quality with the feeling of being there in real life. A must have for any nature lover.

I have heard so much about this documentary that I had to try it. The shots are breathtaking, and every episode of the documentary is extremely interesting. It definitely gives you an increased appreciation of God's creation.

These dvds contain the most incredible footage of our planet and its inhabitants. My kids were mesmerized by the seemingly alien creatures that most are unaware live in the deeps of the oceans. The images captured on these dvds are unbelievable. It is informative and educational yet fantastically fun to watch. Never has an educational program captivated the attention of my children such as Planet Earth/Blue Planet.
