i bought this game for my little brother because it's one of his favorites. tons of hours playing online awaits for its owners. highly addictive and recommended.

Absolutely one of the best games I have ever played. This is an outstanding game and certainly better than the previous three versions.

This COD falls in line with the same type of gameplay as the older ones. The main update is that you now fight with modern equipment, and the graphics look a lot better than any other COD title. It only takes about 5 hours to play thru the story mode. Story mode lets you do some really cool things like bombing a city, and the gameplay is smooth and well acted. Online mode is really where this game stands alone. Free for all deathmatch is my personal favorite. Online play is like working thru the game itself with level ups and weapon and perk upgrades the more you play the better you get. Headset play is kind of a disappointment. Everyone is gargled or cuts in and out. Also, the COD server often goes down, but hey, you take the good with the bad. Overall B+ game.

Oh my fing God ... my friend talked this game up so much that I ordered it. Well thank you friend cause now this damn game it the cause of countless hours of sleep lost, probably loose my j.o.b. and all that ... LOL! No but seriously this game is so great that it is pathetic ... the graphics are superb, the online play is phenomenal ... if you are into military gaming and have good hand eye coordination than this game is a MUST have. I mean I had been play Resistance: Fall of Man and I thought it was a bad game UNTIL I played this one ... now nothing else I have even comes close. I just had to go out and upgrade my router because I didn't like getting killed when my signal was dropping! Truely the most addicting online playstation 3 game since R:FoM! Story mode is great, but the online is fantastic. Worth the buy.

When call of duty came out it was all about multiplayer all the way to the third game but when call of duty 4 came out it was even better. Since it's takes place in modern times the story had more detail and feeling and plot too instead of just shooting down germans to get to Hitler. This title allow people to experience call of duty in a whole new way with new weapons and how ii would be like to fight in the middle east. Very intense and graphic and fast action makes your heart beat like crazy and makes you think you are in that crisis. recommend this game to everyone even people who haven't tried shootings games. A++ for this awesome title.

This is the best playstation 3 game out right now and I will tell you why. more than 26 awards including best graphics, best shooting game, best story mode(even though is short), best multiplayer etc...I used to be really good at video games many years ago but with time I had to put them away because they became complicated to just move around that's why I like this game you clearly know what you have to do, is easy, the controller buttons are a breeze to learn, and of course the extremely high replay value that it has makes it a worthy game to possess.

I have Call of duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Rainbow 6. This is by far the best game I have ever had. The graphics are phenominal, online play is exellent, the controlls are great, and the weapons selection is good. As you gain experiance you can aquire new weapons and perks which make online gaming more enjoyable. The view is in the first person which makes it a lot easier to menauver. I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone.
