the phone was really easy to use and figure out how to use all the features for the most part just by playing around with it for a little bit. the only problem i had was deleting some old pictures that was stored on the phones memory. and it was just 1 picture left on the phone. says it is in use but cant find out where to disable it. that was the only thing i couldnt figure out all the rest of the unwanted pictures and ringtones was easily deleted.

Don't get me wrong the phone quality itself is awesome, however, I was a bit disappointed at the actual size of the phone. In reality this phone would be perfect for anyone looking for a baby Motorola Razr. The phone is almost have the size of the razr but it is thicker than the razr. I like the features on the phone, the options available are ample, although there could have been a few more. The sound clarity can not be beat, no dropped calls, no static, noise or interference. I was quite pleased with the call clarity, you can actually hear a pin drop in the background while talking on this phone. In comparison to the new Motorola Razr 2 this phone is more complicated to setup and get going initially. As with the Razr 2 you just have to hit one button for the initial setup and you are enjoying your phone in less than 5 minutes. With the Motokrzr you have to setup all individual items seperately which can be a bit annoying and tedious. Also the battery life is not as expected, was expecting the battery to last more than one day without talking. I am going to replace the battery (although the current one is new) and hope to get a longer battery life out of it. I would not purchase this phone again - personal choice only, as I would have prefered a bit bigger phone. This phone is not for anyone that requires glasses to read. On a positive note, the picture quality is above average and the video quality is downright awesome for a camera phone. I would recommend this phone to anyone that wants a small phone in the style of a Motorola Razr without the added dimensions of the Razr. I would also recommend this phone to anyone with small fingers and feel more comfortable with a smaller phone. I would also recommend this phone to the younger generation, such as teenagers and the like. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope it helps you in making your decision in purchasing a new phone.

  My new cellphone
Review created: 02/15/08
by:

I had a K1 phone I received with the service contract and I lost it. I bought a K1 from this seller because they had the phone I wanted, at a good price and with several bonus accessories. The phone arrived promptly and it was exactly what was advertised. I had a minor problem with it and they exchanged it for another K1 without any difficulties.
I like the K1 phone because it is slim, light weight and nice looking. It has many multi-media capabilities. It has all the features I want and I would buy another if I needed a reliable cellphone. My wife has a RAZR V3 and I like the K1 a lot better.

  Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 KRZR

Good Quality phone. I had a V3 Razr before this and I like this phone much better. Its not as wide and feels better made than the razr.

The Good:
The Motorola Krzr K1 offers good call quality and comes with Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera, and a speakerphone. Good service quality with quad band. Nice metallic finish. sleek and small. Micro SD card slot for more storage.

The Bad:
The Motorola Krzr K1 lacks 3G support and external music controls compared to the K1m

The bottom line:
Overall I rank this phone a 8.5 of 10.
Though the GSM Motorola Krzr K1 has a more attractive color scheme than the CDMA Krzr K1m, some feature differences make it mostly comparable with its sibling.

AT&T Members Beware of Unlocked Phones
Review created: 02/08/08
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

The Motorola KRZR is a great phone. I love Motorola! However, if you are an AT&T/Cingular subscriber, please be aware when you are buying "unlocked" phones. Unless you are purchasing an AT&T or Cingular branded phone, you may be unable to send/receive MMS (picture) messages or use the Media Net/Internet Feature. Beware of titles such as "AT&T Unlocked..." Because the phone could have been branded for T-Mobile or another carrier. Yes, you can stick your SIM card in and make and receive phone calls, but it's virtually impossible nowadays to completely unlock a phone that was made for another carrier.

  Great phone

Love the number of ring tones and features. Looks great. However since I didn't purchase this unit from my service provider T Mobile. I am unable to have access to my Favs. I also had to download features to connect to my T Mobile. I did save about a hundred dollars. I can live with it for the small inconvenience, and the additional time to set it up. All this has nothing to do with the quality of the phone. These are features I lost because I went to an outside vendor. The reason I bought this phone was I needed a loud ringer, and I wanted the ear piece to sit comfortable in my ear. The Nokia 5300 which has a slider has to be positioned perfectly on your ear. If your moving you wont be able to keep it in place and miss parts of the conversation. I was getting tired of asking my callers to repeat themselves. I paid 150.00 which included priority shipping. The best I've seen it for was 225.00 plus shipping. Its definitely worth looking into.

I like buying cause I save a lot of money buying phones and fixing them, what I dislike is dishonest seller that advertise s9omething as working and then arrives DOA and you cant get in contact with them cause theres no reply. I decide to buy when is at a bargain price or I want that piece for myself.

It was a good purchace. Unfortunately, the information that was not disclosed to us was that the keypad on the phone had Chinese symbols along side the typical letters and numbers. It didn't affect the use of the phone obviously, but it was an asthetic quality that I wish I would have known before hand. (it wouldn't have changed the decission of the purchace however)

Sleeker than RAZR & a surprisingly durable phone
Review created: 01/28/08
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Of course it looks great, but it's got great function, too. At just 1.6 inches wide and 0.6 inches thick, the krzr fits easily into a pocket or small purse. But at 4 inches long, it's easy to hold and dial with one hand -- and despite it's relatively light weight, it doesn't feel chintzy.

The external speaker delivers good sound for your favorite mp3s and speakerphone, perfect companion to the voice-activated dialing; integrated bluetooth is convenient and works great; 2 mega-pixel camera takes surprisingly good pictures and videos in a variety of conditions -- and both can be ready with the push of one button; the raised dividers on the keypad make it easy to make sure you're pushing the correct keys; you can customize the menu, icons, and side one-push buttons -- so you have easiest access to your favorite functions.

Reception has been great indoors and out; downloading mp3s for playback or ringtone use is super easy via USB (cable included); conversely, getting pictures off the phone onto a computer is a snap. On board memory is a good size for all your phone contacts and even some pictures, but with a MicroSD memory card (up to 2G !), you can store a whole vacation of pictures and videos right on your phone. And sending those photos in a text message is a breeze.

I recommend a hard plastic snap-on protective case (they're cheap) -- I've dropped kicked my krzr in a couple of parking lots without damage! However, the silly phone is not machine washable -- the reason for my purchasing a replacement [blush]. I've used a RAZR quite a bit, but the KRZR takes the prize!

The Motokrzr is a pretty darn good phone. I especially like the mucic player and that the reception is better than the Nokia 6085 I had. There are many features and I have yet to experiment with all of them.
I plan get another one for a back up.

  KRZY ABOUT MY KRZR
Review created: 01/22/08
by:

A slim flip phone that does everything I want and need it to do. The next logical step in the Motorola family, this phone gives you the option thru bluetooth to hear your assigned ringtone instead of a defalut tone, enhancing your wireless experience and giving you a whole new level of caller ID. Lightweight and surprisingly sturdy, the flip feature of this phone is not as fragile as the RAZR and smoother. Quality stereo speakers give you the full range of your ringtone, and the LCD provides a crystal clearscreeen to view both pictures and videos.

  K1 KRZR ? WHY NOT?
Review created: 01/20/08
1 of 3 people found this review helpful.

The Motorola KRZR K1 is the latest phone from the manufacturers of the iconic RAZR phone. The KRZR is one of the slimmest flip phones on the market today and is coated with a stunning toughened glass finish which complements the cosmic blue and silver beautifully.

With dimensions of 103 x 42 x 16 the handset is taller and slimmer than the RAZR which makes it very easy to hold and comfortable to use. An external colour screen with 96 x 80 pixel resolution makes it easy to see who is calling before you answer. Internally the TFT screen is much higher quality with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.

As you may expect from a Motorola the camera is high quality and has a resolution of 2 mega pixels with an 8x digital zoom and automatic flash. With 20 megabytes of internal memory upgradeable via a MicroSD memory card you can store lots of photos and video clips. A variety of camera settings and photo effects allow you to create great photos and the video camera can store up to 25 minutes of high quality footage. An impressive extra called Screen 3 technology allows you to view the latest news stories and sports headlines on your phone at the touch of a button.

In addition to the camera the Motorola KRZR K1 comes equipped with an integrated music player with stereo speakers which work via the hands free speaker phone. The speaker phone accepts voice dialling and prompts so you can call without touching a button. Common to other Motorola models the music software is intuitive to use and makes it easy to manage your tracks.

A variety of preloaded Java games are included and you can easily download more using the internet browser. Downloading is very quick thanks to the super fast EDGE internet connection or you can share your friend’s games using Bluetooth. Organising your life is made simple with an intuitive calendar system and phone book. The KRZR supports MMS and SMS messages so you can send photos and audio messages to your friends.

If you want to use your phone abroad the quad band Motorola supports GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 and will switch automatically.

Battery life on the KRZR is good with 300 hours of standby time and 6 hours talk time.

For those of you who liked the RAZR the KRZR is the best phone on the market this year.

The Motorola K1 is an excellent phone. It is light, small, elegant and has all the functionality that you might need. Camera is excellent, sound is great, applications are nice and mobile is very easy to use. Completely recommended as a phone - reception signal is generally fine even where other phones find problems to get a signal! You'll be making a deal whatever price you buy this phone!

  Good Buy
Review created: 01/11/08

I am on the second one of this phone. The first got damaged—cosmetic issue while changing my engine oil. The phone works exceptionally well with a cingular sim; signal quality is very poor using a T-Mobile sim. The camera takes decent pictures and the audio quality through the headphone is fair. It takes too long to boot, though. It’s cumbersome to use for texting. Overall, I am happy with its performance.
