Found this console at a bargain and decided to try it out. Have wanted one since the release, just didn't have the cash. Every game I have played is decent, but with the new releases using more of the system's power, this is a must buy product for any video game junkie.

this was a used item that was displayed as new, if I would have known,I wuld not have never purchesed it. $350 is too much for a used Playstation 3

I love this system (60gb) as soon as I opened it out of the box, I checked to see if any of my ps2 games would work, and it did! Sorry I was ecstatic that I finally found an affordable ps3.

Blu Ray Dvd is the winninn Factor! If you waited to see HD or Blu Ray to decide between XBOX 360 to the PS3 the this will confirm it. Yes the Blu ray is amazing but once I got my hand on it sold my WII,which disapointed me after the hype of the games but delivered nothing exciting like the gaming options on the PS3, not to mention there is like dozen of differnt applications and constatn upgrade on Playstion Underground, constant updates to games , online demos can be downloaded to try before you buy. You can sync up your PSP if you have one to play remotely games on your system on your psp while in a Hotspot.VERY COOL.Download songs surf the net oh ya it is your DVD player too . The wireless remotes are great and you charge them off mini usb cables nothing extra no batteries or charging stations like the WII.Depending on HDD size
60+ GB you should be backward compatible with ps2 games.Can upgrade to a PS3 keyboard to make net surfing easier. Tons of extras! Download Demos for the psp also and install them . All in all its good to wait an see but the time is right prices are falling.Just becautious of any single guy selling his unit, use a reputable seller that has a history of selling these PS3 .Good Gaming

Man this is the best system ever made its so cool it has Online gaming for free it reads blue ray disks and u can upload pictures and music. Its better than the Xbox 360 because the Xbox you have to buy online gaming and with the Ps3 you don't, which make this system so unique. one thing I don't like about this system is nothing i sincerely think its awesome, no downfalls. I basically bought it , because of my concern to purchase a PS3 unit that can play playstation one and two games, But I wanted my unit to do it with hardware compatability and not software emulation. In this The Ps3 with 60gb is best. Its sleek, black, a very elegant piece of equipment when you come to think of it, just make sure not to touch it, cause it leave fingerprints, nonetheless, if u get over that, this machine will serve you well, without the fear of the Red Ring of Death. No Gimmicks I was skeptical at first too!!

Though the delivery and process was speedy for this product, I received a broken ps3 which would not even load games. Although the seller did agree to have me ship it back on my own money, the seller would not return my $300.00 which is what I truly wanted. I'd only recommend buying this product if you're willing to shell out another $150.00 to sony to attempt to get it fixed. Otherwise, it's pointless to waste your time and money.

One of the best game consoles! The PS3 is definitely the best of the best. Perhaps its the mass amount of storage (40,60,80 GB) or the wireless internet. Maybe the free online gaming service or could it be the amazing Blu-Ray Disc graphics, You decide. There has always been the conflict,"XBOX 360 beats PS3". I dont think so. I believe that PS3 has alot mor upgraded features than XBOX. If anyone has noticed the price of 360s has dropped, you know why?, because there have been cases and when I'm talking a large amount of cases where the XBOX either stops working(Ring Of Death) or they blow up and catch houses on fire. Now do i want a system that could potentially harm me? I know I wouldn't, Microsoft has been making more and more defected 360's and it is causing some issues. Anyway what I'm trying to say is if you were going to get a good game console that is reliable I say go for PS3 because overall I think it beats 360 in a lot of fields.

The latest console offering from Sony. This system is primarily a games system but underneath the hood lies a lot more.

The good - Packed with lots of interesting things under the hood. All PS3's play PS1 games as well as regular PS3 games in up to 1080p. You can also play Blu-Ray movies in up to 1080p. All machines (except the 20GB discontinues a long time ago) have wifi built in for wireless gaming. All official controllers are wireless and can charge from the PS3 itself. Every unti comes with a Hard Drive so you can download games from the Playstation Store, copy your music to it, copy your digital photos to it, even movies! PS3s will also play standard DVDs and if you have a HDTV will upconvert them to HD! Free online play.

The bad - Right now it's the price. Currently even though it offers more out the box than either its competitors, people still see that it costs $50-$100 more and shy away. Also the machine is huge and weighs quite a bit and it's glossy finish attracts all the dust in your house.

Overall it's the best bang for your buck if your looking for the best games machine, most reliable games machine, HD movies. It's worth it at current retail prices but if you can snag one for less then you've got a bargin. If you just want casual gaming then go with the Wii or Arcade Xbox 360. If not then the choice is the PS3.
