The photography was awesome. I am hearing impaired however, and was very disappointed that closed caption was not an option. Without words, I had no idea what I was looking at. My husband loved it!

Great filming, good narrative, and not with any agenda. I bought it because I'm going to be living in a huge city for the next year and wanted to be able to see nature. I had seen the first disk in the series about a month ago and knew it could be my fix.

I saw the series on TV and for my taste is the best I have ever seen. The best "reality" TV out there. Features such rare footage no wonder it took it so many years to make this series and capture it all. It makes me happy to know there are still great things about the Earth and makes me want to protect them.

Not original Narator however very good Movie. Much recommended to the planet earth enthusiasts!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone should see this DVD. It is one of greatest DVD I have ever seen. There are some parts repeated in each DVD in set of 5. But it is worth for knowledge and understanding of nature/animal's around us.

This is a must have collection for anyone who appreciates nature

This is an wonderful series! While I watch many 'nature' and 'science' programs, I have to admit that most have their boring moments, and I seldom want to watch any of them twice. I bought this series for myself and have watched it alone, and with my kids and grandkids. I gave two sets as Christmas gifts last year and Just bought another set as a gift.
The photography is absolutely breathtaking.
With all the environmental problems, I fear many of the places and animals we see could soon exist only on such films. Hopefully seeing this will inspire people to take whatever steps are needed to preserve this awesome world we live in, and also see that we need to share it with so many wonderful species.

If you like to see nature without getting out of your house, this is a must see. In front of large screen while walking on a treadmill, this takes you on exotic journeys all over the planet and gives you breathtaking views.

The BBC has really done a fantastic thing. This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. I have loved watching every second of it. Really top notch!

It is a well done project. The picture quality is great and pictures are unique. It is a dvd that you watch at anytime and enjoy.

Great 5 disc set. If you like nature you love this program . Seen it on TV and I could watch it over again.

I love the Planet Earth Collection!! It's very informative. My 7th grade students all enjoying watching each disc. They find the topics featured and discussed so fascinating. I, too enjoy the collection. Bravo to BCC for creating this series!

Very good photography and sound. This movie is easy to follow even if it is a long picture. I found the stunning action held my attion. A great natural history film with meny bonus features of behind the scenes footage showing how thay this all together. Just a allover great you must see for yourself to belive it.
