I had heard about this book and was glad to get it. I read it as soon as I received it and it has already changed my way of approaching things. Kudos to the author. The style of writing was easy to read and comprehend. I would heartly recommend this book to anyone.

waste of time , patiency and money !!
I could not go further than the 10th page. it is just too schizophrenic and lunatic !!
there is no proof of anything they throw on you ,... be prepared if you insist to buy ,.. a lot garbage !! I had only one benefit of it : every time someone ask me what was the worst book I've ever had read ,..... well ,...now I can remember very fast : the Secret , of course !!!!

This book gives you a different view on life. Its all the things you already know and/or felt but brings it to reality. The book is also a mood booster; this book helped me to remember all of the blessings in my life instead of focusing on the negatives.
Info in this book comes from some of the most successful people of all time, and is so uplifting and empowering that it can't be bad. Maintaining and practicing the advise is not as easy as it sounds, and it does take constant work and vigilance.
Often, we do actually enjoy our self created misery, misery that it is difficult to give up. Our complaining and whining and self sacrificing have become our friends, our comfort our "safe place" that it's hard to say good bye. This book will help you break those bonds to unhealthy relationships. To let go of self destructive thoughts and attitudes. To say it's a good thing to be "healthy, wealthy and wise." It was meant to be and this book illustrates it well. Don't let the cover and "fussiness" get in the way of the message. No hocus-pocus, voodoo here. Just common sense, when you think about it.

A simple guide to improving the quality of your life. Easy to read and understand. Oprah recommends this information and has lived like this her whole life. I recommend this book very highly to everyone, particularly to those who may be at a low point in their lives. It will make an enormous difference.

I first borrowed this book from my local Library. I loved the message of Powerful intentions and the Law of Attraction it relays. I kept renewing The Secret over and over, trying to let the words of this book sink in. Finally, I decided, I better buy my own copy ! Heehee. I dislike nothing about this book, in fact I love it ! I read parts of it everyday, and am trying to utilize it's words in my life. I highly recommend this book. Thanks.

I bought this book on my sister's recommendation. The book gives you a lot to think about and a whole new way of looking at things. I really enjoyed it and hope to put some of its practices to use. What I disliked about it was that the WHOLE book consisted of statements from several well known authors - to me, it was distracting. But the message was very good.

This book is a re-run of the Law of Attraction. Interesting but not new info.
Who doesn't want to know a "secret"?? Had some eccentrics who were a little "off the wall" but all in all is pretty truthful. Probably it had it's biggest run because some of the people and author were interviewed on Oprah's show. It seem as if you get to her show, it is a hit, look at Dr. Phil and Nate Berkus as example...
I liked the idea that it was a new review of old methods, focus on your goals and of course, the Law of Attraction works like crazy.

Both good and new, but unfortunately what is good is not new, and what is new is not good. This is simply the same tripe that has been hocked for at least a century with a shiny new wrapper. If you think this is philosophy, you probably didn't graduate from high school.

I believe the author had an interesting twist on positive thinking. Thinking things into existence is a little over the top for me. However, in some cases I can see it is possible.
For example, no matter how much I walk around believing I am a millionaire when I am not, would probably make me feel good but not make me rich. Walking around pretending to be happy and like I'm loved and am in a great relationship would definately draw people to me and may create just that situation.
Good read. Feel good book. Food for thought for those of us that ponder this type of stuff.

I love this book. I saw the DVD and really liked it. THis is a very encouraging message that can make a difference in everyones life. I read a copy of this book that I received from the local library. I purchased it because I wanted to re-read it. It is a great book to help keep a positive attitude about life. There are many quotes by successful people and many ways to become successful in your own life. I bought a second copy to give to my grand daughter as a gift. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to make their life better and happier.

This book was given to me from a co-worker. If you can see past the author hawking her movie multiple times, you will find this a great, quick....must read. It was very inspirational,validated some of my accomplishments but also put a spot light on those areas where I need to "change my frequency." I am on ebay to purchase my own copy and to buy others for family and friends who I'd like to share "The Secret."

Instead of purchasing the item, I recommend first getting it from your local public library and watching it. Or, perhaps borrow it from a friend who paid alot of money to buy it. As a presentation, The Secret lacks the specific information on how to learn to apply the principles discussed in the text visual presentation. Yes, it is dramatic, captivating and of interest; but, it is below average in its specific instructive information.

This is a great piece of literature! I believe everyone should read and experience this book for themselves. It is very positive and uplifting and focuses on how to become more positive and how positive thinking will bring you what you deserve in life. The universe will be kind to you if you are kind in return. It is not so much karma as it is faith. Do not be neagtive or think negative or you will be blocking anything positive from coming your way. The secret is a practice that ensures a better life for all who decide to read and grasp the concepts in this exceptional book. The law of attraction says like attracts like, so when you think a thought, you are also attracting like thoughts to you. Praise and bless everything in the world, and you will dissolve and align yourself with the highest frequency-love. Your current thoughts are creating your future life right now. What you think about the most or focus on the most will appear as your life. Nothing can come into your thoughts unless you summon it through persistent thoughts. This book has taught me many great things! I now create my days in advance by thinking the way I want them to go and I create my life intentionally. Here is a great verse from the book. The earth turns on its orbit for you. The oceans ebb and flow for you. The birds sing for you. The sun rises and sets for you. The stars come out for you. Every beautiful thing you see, every wondrous thing you experience is all there, for you. Take a look around. None of it can exist without you. And now you know The Secret! "The secret is the answer to all that has been, all that is, and all that will ever be." This book is by far the most mesmerizing I have read in a long time. Consumed by the energy and intelligence from the writings in the book I read every last page the second I received it. I could not put it down. It is a timeless beautiful masterpiece recommended to all! This book is not anti-religion or anti-God in anyway, if it was I would not have read it. It is just a simple self-help book with a big message. Have faith, believe in what you choose to believe in (including yourself) and the universe will bring you what you deserve in life through the law of attraction!
