I liked that Nintendo Wii that I got.I like the Nintendo Wii because I can do so many things on there and it isn't just sitting around with a controller moving your fingers. You actually can get up and move around when you play. I also like that it can be so many things in one. You can have the internet, the weather, the games, and even pictures. I decided to buy this because I have always wanted a Wii. They are so much fun. You can have a bunch of people playing and it is great for kid's party's. That is why I decided to buy the Nintendo Wii Game Console.

We have been trying to buy the Nintendo Wii since Nov. 07. Couldn't find one anywhere. My husband is disabled and can no longer play sports with his boys. This was their solution to have Dad participating in sports again. HIS 1ST BOWLING GAME HE BEAT HIS 21 YEAR OLD SON! He's 61. LOL
This is definitely a solution that has brought back some joy and hope to my husband's life. Thankfully E-Bay buying enabled us to finally find a console at a decent price. Thanks E-Bay!

Great family entertainment. The Wii sport is not only great for kids (mine are 3-8), but also a good way to get your heart rate up and sweat off a pound or two after a long day of work. I wouldn't say it is a replacement for regualr exercise, but it will get you off the couch and moving around.
A connector is needed (not included) to access the internet, but it has built in wireless so it is not necessary.
I would not recommend purchasing it in a bundle as most bundles come with games and/or accessories that are either not needed or not wanted. Buy the console with the Wii Sport game, take it home and try it out. Then you will have a feel for it and a better idea of the kind of games and accessories you want.
The consoles retail for aroung $250 and I don't see a need to pay much more than that. If you can't wait to get one and have the extra money to burn, go ahead. If not, you should be able to find one in a local game store or on-line for around the $250 mark if you are patient and catch them in stock.
If you are looking for a console for hardcore gaming, I wouldn't say this is it. However, if you are looking for a console for the whole family with a great variety of games and activities for all ages, this is the one. Even my wife who stays as far away from other game consoles as she can has spent about 1-2 hours every other day playing our Wii.

Great De-stresser Family GameThe WII is so much fun. I'm not that into video games, but my husband and I decided to purchase this. We have been having so much fun playing against each other. We have two very small children which can place a lot of pressure on us. After they are in bed we play and de-stress. I feel so relaxed after playing a couple of games. I can't wait to purchase more games for it.

WE BOUGHT THIS AS A GRADUATION GIFT FOR OUR CHILDREN AND THEY LIKED IT VERY MUCH. IT IS A FUNFILLED, EXCITING AND INTERACTIVE GAME.THE CHILDREN MUST BECOME ACTIVE. THEY DO NOT JUST SIT THERE AND PRESS BUTTONS, THEY MUST GET UP AND MOVE ABOUT. THE SPORTS PACKAGE IS QUITE ENJOYABLE. WE WERE RELUCTANT TO BUY THE WII BECAUSE OF THE COST BUT IT WAS WORTH THE SACRIFICE. A GOOD REWARD FOR HARD WORKING, WELL BEHAVED CHILDREN. WE HAD DIFFICULTY GETTING THE SECOND CONTROLLER TO WORK BUT MY HUSBAND AND NINE YEAR OLD SON QUICKLY FIGURED IT OUT.

Preety sweet I bought mine about last year and I play a bunch of games on it( Mostly the guitar hero series). Also have your darn wrist strap on you will hurt someone :P

its a great product for newbies and professional gamers, it is researched very well and has a lot of options for customization.

It is AWESOME!! Everyone in the family, from our 9 year-old to our 50 year-old, actually looks forward to getting more fit using the many different "games". It tracks your progress and helps you to set realistic goals for improving your fitness level. This will be especially great during the long, cold winter months. I would recommend this for everyone!

We got this for our Senior Center - it included lots of games that our less mobile seniors can use for additional activity. All who have tried it really enjoy it. We put the game in the main room to interest those who mainly just play cards or board games. GREAT MOTIVATOR!!

I would consider myself a video game junky when I have time to play. I own a Nintendo Game Boy Advanced, PS2, PSP, and Now Nintendo Wii. I was reluctant when my wife went out to buy one but I think it is well worth the money now!
This is by far the most interactive family game console on the current market. My wife and I are spending some more time together by playing this system. Well here are the positives:
This console gets you up and moving. Every game I have played so far (mainly the sports games that come with the console) have had me impressed. You actually move your body like you are really playing the sport. I actually broke out in a sweat tonight playing some of the sports.
Most games are geared toward multiple players or a family. I remember the day my father gave our family the original Nintendo system and we would play for hours. Well years later, this system takes it to a whole other level.
I did not find any glitches in the games which is unusual. My PS2 has had some and my PSP have frozen up at times. This game has not. The setup was rather easy which only took mainly 15 minutes with rerunning the cables.
The only two negative things I could say is all the accessories along with the game console add up dollar wise. It also take a little while to get use to the controllers. Once you get use to it, it is really fun.
I will definitely be looking out for more accessories and games.
I will keep you posted, but this is a must have for any family. It is very addicting also!
