I purchased the PSP -receieved it. The Psp was defective.The down arrow button was stuck on. So I sent the unit back to the seller who said he had a 100% satifaction gaurantee. He indicated he would send a replacement. That replacement never came. After many message to the seller and a letter to his home with no responses,I am now trying to get my money back through Paypal.

This seller sent me a psp that clearly broken on the inside . Was not a shipping issue as I had the package examined by my postal service . Paypal had to give me my refund . ( Emails and Case file to prove ) Seller begged me not to file my complaint wait till end of month he would pay me back . Sorry I'm not going to be out that kind of $ based on a description that was a fraud listing . LIKE NEW my butt . Also begged me not to leave bad feedback but you get what you deserve

I have read the many reviews that are out there and you can say that many have not even tough close to the performance of this thing. I am an adult that loves PSP, PS3 and all it has to offer, but my PSP is the best! It's the best because it's mobile and sometimes in my down time no matter if it's at work or at home...I'll pull that bad boy out and start playing it. The most that I get out of my PSP is that when I'm in the car driving I use it and connect it to my car stereo and jam off of it. The MP3 function is banging! I got a regular IPOD dashboard mount and sit my PSP in it securely.

The gaming part of PSP is awesome to because you can say that I have sort of a sealth combat sort of thing going on. My games range from Hitman to Dark Mirror. Yes I love the shoot them up type of games. Especially the Navy Seals!

PSP is a great little investment, you will never be bored again trust me! And if you are into web design like I am or any kind of graphics art, you can design your own psp backgrounds like I did. It's nothing like some custom stuff to say if you touch my PSP your dead....LOL!

Bought this just to play games, but am amazed by all the things it can do. You can connect to other PSP's, and play against your friends. You can go on the internet, download your music, and even turn it into a univeral remote control.

My 15-year old has had this PSP now since December and I have to say that he is absolutely infatuated with it! WE have also had NO problems with the unit iteself. And a big tip for anyone thinking of buying one, invest the extra $5.00 for a little plastic screen protector and another $15.00 for the Logitech hard case to store it in.

Anyway, the game that my son plays the most is Socom - The only thing that I wish this entertainment pack came with are the PSP headphones, you have to buy them separately for about $25.00. Then you have to buy the microphone attachment for another $20.00 if you want to play Wifi on the PSP (Socom) Fortunately for my son most of his friends also have PSP's and they all get together and play in their own "group" and have "wars". Since he loves the thing so much, it is a great motivator for him to make good grades and do his chores because he is not allowed to touch the PSP until his chores are done and done well, and if his grades slip (which they haven't) then he does not get to play with it until the grades come back up. Good for him he is an A/B student! :)

As for the overall rating of the PSP; it is an awesome and very impressive piece of entertainment equipment. It is solid, the graphics are awesome and clear, the sound is sharp and unlike most handheld games the volume is significant (and this is good if you are watching a movie on it or listening to music). And speaking of music, my son was able to download his favorite music CD's using the software that comes with the PSP and transfer the music to the PSP with the USB cable that also comes with the Entertainment pack. The only complaint my son has had with it so far is that the joystick is a pain if he plays for a while, so the remedy to that is buy a pack of joystick toggles that attach right over the existing joystick and they make it easier and more comfortable to maneuver. Those folks at Sony are so smart!

The movie, Lords Of Dogtown was great for my son since he is a skateboarder and the movie is about skateboarding! the game ATV off road is an awesome game, but my son LOVES Socom more. He can also keep a calendar and his friends phone numbers on the PSP and if you have a wireless router, you can also connect to the internet and use the on screen keyboard to surf the web and type emails. Overall, I feel that the PSP was well worth the money.

IM SURE MANY SHOPPERS LIKE MYSELF WONDERED IS IT REALLY WORTH THE 200 PLUS BUCKS? DEPENDS, IF YOUR TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, ENJOY MUSIC AND MOVIES, SURE ITS GREAT. THE 4GIG PROSTICK DUO I COULD NEVER FILL WITH ENOUGH MUSIC WORKS GOOD TO MY ADVANTAGE AND STORES PHOTO'S TOO. AS FAR AS GAME SELECTION, THERE ISNT A GREAT DEAL OF TITLES BUT IM SATISFIED WITH THE GAMES I DO OWN. (NHL 07, THE SHOW 07, BUST OF MOVE AND REN & STIMPY TO NAME A FEW), PLUS THE PROMISING PSP ONLY TITLES DUE OUT SOON AS THE PREQUEL TO FF7. IF YOU DRIVE ALL DAY IN A CAR NOT MUCH OF A NEED FOR IT UNLESS YOU USE IT FOR MUSIC VIA MINI CONNECTOR, ITS A MUST HAVE FOR PEOPLE ON THE GO. EASY MENUS OPTIONS AND NAV ARE A PLUS

i love it. its an amazing buy. im just gald i didnt have to buy it in a store and pay more for the extras it came with. plus it was 50$ cheaper or more than what youd pay in a store. i bought it so id have something to do working the graveyard shift. A good investment for me and for anyone. id like the thank the seller!

This is an amazing product by Sony. The PSP is great my son loves it, its great for road trips and anywhere else you want to go. The PSP has great graphics, and its very cool how you can listen to music and watch videos on it. You can also use internet in certain places. I would recommend this for anyone who travels alot or like video games.

This device has more buttons than any handheld gaming device that I've ever seen. There are 4 thumb accessible buttons on each side. The left 4 buttons are for navigation, while the right 4 buttons are the standard PlayStation menu interaction buttons. Seven small buttons along the bottom edge of the PSP give you access to Home, Volume up/down, Display brightness, Sound toggle, Select and Start. The directional and menu buttons are all good sized and easy to press. They have enough tactile feedback so that you know when you've pressed one. The directional buttons are angled so that your thumb will not easily slide off when you're moving from button to button at a quick pace. The other buttons are pretty small and a little difficult to press. Especially the tonight volume and brightness buttons. There's another button on the front of the PSP that I actually missed at first. I thought it was a speaker grill! Yes, I'm blind... Under the directional buttons is an actual analog joystick. This stick is spring loaded with a serrated thumb pad to prevent slippage. It works really well in games like Ridge Racer.

The display on the PSP is large and g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. It has to be the largest handheld gaming console screen to date. At 4.3 inches diagonally, it's even bigger than my HP HX4700 iPAQ! Being able to comfortably see all the action on the screen without having to squint is great! This is the first gaming device that has actually given me the same feeling that I get when playing games on a large TV screen. You know the feeling you get when you're playing a racing game and you go into a spin and you almost can feel the spin. I've never felt that way with a Game Boy or other handheld device. I do feel it with the PSP, and I like it!

The colors are vivid, and graphics are crisp. Depending on the game, you do notice some jaggies here and there though. That said, I didn't notice any ghost or other annoying screen behaviors. The screen is evenly lit and the three brightness settings allow you to adjust the screen to your liking. I always run mine on the middle setting which is more than bright enough in any environment. I should also mention that my unit has no dead pixels which is excellent as I have read that some people have found some on theirs.

The good: The Sony PSP is a slick portable gaming system highlighted by an impressive wide-screen display and PS2-like graphics. It also boasts built-in Wi-Fi, a Web browser, and the ability to play music and videos, as well as to store images.

The bad: The Sony PSP's multimedia functionality is underwhelming, especially for video, requiring expensive memory cards. The load times on the UMD games can be excessive.

The bottom line: The Sony PSP elevates portable gaming to the next level, but its multimedia functionality falls short of its full potential.

this is great for traveling. it is battery powered so when the power goes out you can still play.you can download music, photos and games.

Great machine, great screen. Lots of uses to keep ya intertained. Waiting for games to load can be a little long, oh well it gives ya time to go to the rest room.

I recieved it super fast. bought it for a christmas gift. It was sold as used,but it was in perfect shape and in origanal box. My daughter loves it.

This is a really great portable game console system. This is a must have for the ones who are addicted to the playstation 2 and 3. This can go with you anywhere and it is pretty compact and very sleek can fit in a purse or you can buy a case to put it in, and I recommend a case over a purse to many things in a purse to scratch and ding it up. This thing has awesome graphics & sound, and it even plays music. This uses a memory stick to save your games on. Also has a rechargeable batteries, and the charger comes with it. Has a LCD wide screen. Awesome 3D Graphics, and sound. This is a Portable Playstation that you can take on the go great for long trip, and to take on vacations. I truly recomend this for all playstation lovers it is truly just awesome you won't go wrong getting this for yourself or for a gift for a playstation lover. I would recommend buy a PSP starter kit so you will have a case for it, and a car charger for on the go trips. This you will find is money well sent here. This is diffenitly a 5 Star rating out of 5

For the past 10 years Sony has been the leader in everything "gaming" and in 2005 they launched the Sony PSP. This little gaming device is amazing the screen is crystal clear, you have a gaming console which can play games, umd movies, mp3 music and jpeg photos as well as being able to surf the internet

The minor flaws with the PSP are that the battery can only last around 5 hours from a full charge. This is not much of a problem as you can simply plug the console in a power source and get straight back into the game. The device is very easy to use. If buying for a child I'd highly reccomend watching them when using the device because it can do many things not appropriate for all ages.

The great thing about the PSP is the ability to play "homebrew" games and emulators, this basically means you can play gameboy games, megadrive games, snes games, neo geo games, etc on the PSP.

If you are a new buyer of the sony PSP id advise you not to buy any UMD movies they are expensive and you can only play them on your psp! Id advise you to learn how to convert on your pc to PSP and get movies from friends or the internet pay sites. The mp3 player on the PSP is a little dissapointing, it just has your basic play, pause, rewind, slow forward etc buttons. There is no flash graphic demos or anything fancy to look at, but dont worry you can download much better mp3 players for PSP on the internet.

The games are good, some are not so good as you would expect from a new console. Games to go for are: Metal gear Ac!d (If you like the series tactical game very fun), Lumines (like teris but better!) Ape academy (Girls will go for this but dont be put off its very fun and is full of mini games, great to play on the bus, train etc!) Pro Evo 5 (great footy game), Wipeout pure (great graphics good game for all) Ride Racers (same as last one), Burnout legends (brilliant for you speed and crash freak my faviourite psp game behind MGA!)

The psp fits nice in the hands of an adult, I'd mainly say its aimed at the 20 something male market so thumps up there for the feel of the console! The PSP seems to be quite heavy when you first pick one up, it must weight half a brick lol but this makes you want to hold it more securely. You dont want to drop your psp, the weight and shape would probably end up in a certain deth of the console if dropped! Use the handy wrist band that comes in the pack!

When you buy I reccomend you buy the following:

A larger memory stick 512mb at least! 1gig or 2gig if you can afford it.
PSP protective case, dont cost much but save's your psp from getting scratched!
A PSP umd game, the demo umd has no playable games, sadly.
Insurance is also a must since they become easily stolen.

This is an excellent piece of equipement, has internet compatibility, games are awsome the movie quality is great the graphics are awesome. I rate this a 5/5 without an problems. Ever since I got the psp I have been really happy with it and its so easy to travel with since its so small. 5/5 here
