bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

When I saw the add, I thought it was for a new phone. Had I known it was used, I would have never bought it. The phone is in good working condition, but it was advertised as new.

The phone looks really slim and stylish. It makes a great phone to carry around. However, the camera on the phone takes low quality pictures. Other features such as alarms and games are too basic. After all, it is a nice looking phone with only basic functions.

Get your FREE PS3!!! I did it and it WORKS!!!
Review created: 02/29/08

Get one for FREE!!! Have a look at this video first:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFKYVE__Mug

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It
literally takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I
promise you, this is 100% real. I wouldn't jeopardize my eBay account
status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you
on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below,
register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete
just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise
your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other
sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different
pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else
to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster
online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would
regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not
use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Posterpass.com and paid only $10 for 4 posters). Look at the offers and choose the one
that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer,
simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to
do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on
eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your PS3 System or your selected item for free, I
chose the PS3 80gb System. No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these
companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all
the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as
advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which
goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as
Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you
want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your
own personal link after your orders placed.

Step 1: Click this link:
http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=4490020

Step 2: Sign up and chose an account type (Referral is the easiest and
best).

Step 3: Complete just 1 offer (like Blockbuster or Stamps.com) and
refer up to 13 people to do the same (use eBay! Do what I did, copy my
ad).

Step 4: Receive your PS3 System for FREE!!!!!!!!!! (Even The Shipping
Is Free!!!)

For proof that this is for real, click on the link below. It's the
company that is behind everything.

  Bringin' sexy back...
Review created: 02/28/08

I think Motorola really made something amazing with the sleek and sexy "copy" of the RAZR. I remember there was a huge marketing hype when the RAZRs first came out and I was one of the few people that didn't join the bandwagon. Sure, it was fashionable, but other than that, it didn't really appeal to me--then came the KRZR. Wow, this thing is loaded for such a small, thin form factor! It has a 2 megapixel camera (more than you would ever need on a cell phone), a microSD slot for to store all of your music and pictures, and it's silver, almost like a mirror, body is so sexy and beautiful to look at. Definitely a great clamshell design phone for all of those looking to purchase it.

  reasons for a krzr

I've had this phone for over a year now and I question myself why I did. To start positively it feels alot more solid than the razr, it is very sleek and comfortable to talk on, there are very nice mp3 light up buttons on the front looks great and the volume control area is alot better than the razr, and the speaker is so crisp and amazing. Dislikes would be built in memory is pretty low, the screen size is fairly small(for a sleek phone understandable), the camera shutter noise doesn't have an off option and is extremely loud. As for the references with the razr is because people usually wonder whats so different about the two models. All and all this is a very nice phone to use but not for multimedia wise.

  Motorola KRZR K1
Review created: 01/23/08
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

This phone is a multimedia phone at heart. It has anything you could need and then some. In my opinion the KRZR K1 out weighs the K1M. The KRZR K1M is a CDMA phone for services such as sprint and verizon. While the KRZR K1 is for gsm services such as at&t and t-mobile. While both share different features, the K1M lacks opposed to the K1.

I.E. The KRZR K1 has a 2.0MP Camera while the KRZR K1M has a 1.0MP Camera.

The KRZR K1 has easy access to your micro sd slot on top of your sim card for fast-swapping photo albums and music. The KRZR K1M has a micro sd slot which is damn near impossible to swap without using a mini flat-head screwdriver.

The KRZR K1 has no bluetooth file restrictions. Meaning you can make your own mp3 ringtones and send them via bluetooth to your phone. The KRZR K1M has bluetooth file restriction as you are forced to pay 3 dollars for sprint or verizons rintones.

The KRZR K1 has a video recorder as a feature which allows you to record videos at as long as 1 minute with sound. The K1M stops at 30 seconds.

The KRZR K1 has wonderful music quality and i have been hearing that the quality on the K1M suffers a lot.

The KRZR K1 has seamless multitasking and navigation without a hitch. The KRZR K1M is often jerky and unresponsive to certain button pushes and commands.

What im trying to get at here if you have not noticed is the K1 beats the K1M. If you are going for just appeal grab the K1M if you are going for appeal and performance get the K1. I have had this phone going on a year and i love it. It is small enough to shove in that little coin pocket on your jeans and is really customized if you make your own wallpapers and ringtones. While the K1 even lacks some minor features, the huge feature is the fact neither the K1 or the K1M is a 3G phone. C'mon motorola, the razr v3 had 3g support, squeeze it in the KRZR! Overall this is a preety slick phone and still somewhat new enough to have a 1-up on style on others. It will keep you happy for some time...or until they release 3G support.

KRZR is the worst phone I have EVER owned!
Review created: 01/18/08
by:
8501kay ( 6 )
1 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I bought the KRZR brand new from the Sprint store, and wish I had never bought it at all. It has to be the WORST phone I have EVER owned! At first I was excited to have it, it was shiny small and sleek. I like the fact that it had sweet looking controls on the front of the phone that lit up blue when playing music. There were no buttons just touch sensitive lights! BUT, this has to be the only cool thing about it. I had it only 6 months before selling it off. during those 6 mo, it was terrible. I had issues with the phone. MAJOR issues. I would make a call and when trying to end the call the phone wouldnt let me end the call, it just kept going and going and going. I ended up having to remove the battery to get it to end. ( Holding the power button did NOTHING!) This wasnt the issue with every call i made, but the fact that it even did it at all, was weird. Then sometimes my phone would just be sittin around the house and all of a sudden it would start ringing as if someone was calling, yet the problem was, nobody was calling! no text message, nothing. It just started ringing for no reason! and lept ringing and ringing until i again, removed the battery. I also had a problem with text messaging too. I would be able to send out about three texts then when i got to sending a 4th (this is either sending to the same person, or even sending to different people) it would start entering random letters and numbers instead of what i was actually entering. When this happened, in order to resume texting normally, i would have to turn the phone off and back on again. Annoying!! Then there was the issue of if my phone was on for awhile and i hadnt used it in about an hour or even less, i would go to my contacts to choose someone to call and as iwent down the list, it would freeze up randomly. I would have to wait for about 5 min, to actually get to the contact i wanted to call, or else turn it off and back on again! sometimes, it would freeze completely no matter what i was trying to do, and i would have to remove the battery and put it back in. This is the ULTIMATE in retarded phones. I will NEVER ever buy another Motorola phone again. EVER. Dropped calls all the time, not very many options in changing the display settings, camera sucked, and just took forever to do ANYTHING. I wanted to remove the date from the inside LCD screen and just have the time displayed, and it wouldnt allow that. No options on anything really. The screensavers were pretty cool though. But whats the point in that when you have a POS phone that doesnt work correctly?

The krzr was not a pleasant phone for me. It had quiet tones, the buttons on the outside do not work, and after about three months the speaker went out out and played no tones at all. This happened three times. After three replacement phones in five months, I went with a different company. They are awesome to look at. Beautiful and they hold a charge well, but they are not good phones for people who live off their phones. They just aren't reliable enough.

Bought the phone for a Christmas present for my boyfriend. It came so fast he got it ahead of time. He loves it and the best feature to him is the loudness of the ring tones! He can now hear it when it is in his pocket. He also loves the color, I was told it was new.....silver. I would buy another!

I am somewhat pleased with this purchase. It is the phone i had wanted a bit of a cheaper price than normal. what i was not told, is that this phone does not work with cingular/at&t. yes , it does have quad-band so that you can recieve/send calls/text messages. however, i can not access my media package, nor can i send/recieve media messages. this was not originally disclosed....

This is a great little phone. It gets great reception in comparison to other cell phones I've had. Over all rating would be really good. The only thing I don like is the size of the screen, of course my eyers aren't exactly perfect!

  thumbs up on the "krayzer"!

Things that I like about the Motorola KRZR? Camera, video, 8X zoom, audio recording, texting options. Size is just right for me, slips comfortably in my front pants pocket without discomfort at all. I have really gotten a lot of use out of the video feature, and am astonished as to how much video I can record before downloading! Love the style -- sleek, slim, stylish. Very good reception and call quality.

Things that I dislike? Not much, just the smudging that occurs on the shiny cover that I got over pretty quickly. The video quality wanes at the higher levels of zoom (4X plus), but this is to be expected using my last Motorola phone as a baseline and it didn't have any zoom!

Best part is that we've gone through a lot of different cell phones over the past few years, but I can see myself keeping the KRZR for quite a while!! It's that good. Even my husband (the "gadget" guy) would agree.

KRZR K1 lives up to high expectations!
Review created: 10/05/07

The Motorola KRZR K1 is an awesome phone, period. Its super-sleek design matched with the functionality you'd expect for $100 more is perfect for the average cell-phone user anywhere. The mp3 player is awesome, although i'd like the outer controls like on the K1M, however those phones are ONLY compatable with the CDMA service (shucks!). The volume control is much better than the razr i previously owned, and the reception is also much much better. There is a slight lag in keypad command entering (When pressing keys) but it is so slight I hardly notice it and dont notice it at all when making calls or answering messages. The buttons are also amazing, because they never lose their sensitivity, meaning the buttons press the same today as they will 2 years from now and will never lose firmness. Overall I think this phone is a very worthy competetor for only around $165 when other more 'highly-advanced' phones sell for over $300. The front face plate also doubles as a mirror! what a bonus!

Should have been called the "kroozer" not krAzr
Review created: 09/14/07
by:
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I hate the name. because what is a krzr....except for a silly name for a phone
Aside from the silly name, it is a very delightful phone. is very sleek and small,
yet it has a lot of potential. depending on how big the added memory is.
The Krzr accepts flash, music and is an mp3 player also.
Has a ton of ringers, and also uses any tune you pick to be a ringer as well. you can change that whole outside to fit your taste, so that it can be all you. But you better be mechanically minded to do this job it isn't for the faint hearted.
