  MP3's only
Review created: 02/12/08

I didn't know this device could only use the mp3 format, had I known I'd have passed on it and went with the regular sandisk sansa player. It plays well enough and my daughter loves the built in speaker feature but I didn't have a wide variety of songs I could put on the player for her. Also can't quite figure out how to 'shake' to the next song.

Very nice player 4 the money!
Review created: 02/05/08

Lots of features, lots of storage. High quality feel to it.The display has lousy resolution and the ear buds don't sound great, but that is easily solved with a better set. One of my computers does not get along with it,but it is an old computer. I would recommend this mp3 player!

  Sandisk Sansa 2GB MP3 player
Review created: 02/05/08
by:

I bought the above player on Ebay for $35. It is a factory refurbished one, I love it, no problems at all, nice sound, loud enough even with the supplied headphones. Easy to transfer music on it, no additional program is needed, battery is a lithium polimer rechargable built in, plays music for about 8-10 hrs with one charge. 2 gig is more than enough, but still extendable with memory card. Great stuff!

  SanDisk Sansa™ c250
Review created: 01/25/08(updated 03/27/08)
by:

You need Rhapsody to put any music on it and half of the time Rhapsody screwed up while transferring files, When the files was transfered the player would play 1 or 2 songs then skip around with none of the buttons responding. Scandisk is no help at all, they won't even reply to any emails.

EDIT/UPDATE- Go too http://www.rockbox.org/ They have released a free Firmware for this c250, and it works great, even has some games on it. Fixes most if not all problems. /This is not spam, just trying to help people here/

What I like about this unit is that it is so easy to use. Just drag and drop your music to it. No special programs required. If you are looking for a product with extensive disk space and a program that requires time to load and use (ie... IPOD or Microsoft Zune products) this probably isn't for you. Another plus, the storage space can be expanded by using micro SD chips.

The unit is small and lightweight. I use it for running and it has been dropped a few times. It has not cracked or been damaged by me in any way. I can't say it is beyond damaging. I let my daughter use my previous player and within one afternoon she damaged the headphone jack. I felt good enough about the product that I purchased the exact model to replace it.

Get a look at this first, and then you choose if you still believe it or not.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFKYVE__Mug

Don't get fooled by those other people claiming that you can get a Free Ipod, they're just trying to get people to complete offer for them and they really don't care about the people who does.

You see, I only need 1 more offer to get my free Ipod, I've completed an offer myself and all I need is someone to complete an offer under my refferal. What I promise that other people won't do is that I'll e-mail every people that completed an offer through me and send them pictures of the Ipod I've received as proof, I'll probably put a video too.

To make it clear, you register through the link I give you, you choose refferal account type and you complete an offer. Don't worry, the offer you're completing is for you and for me, you'll only need to do one offer.

There's this new offer called Care Bear something... You pay about 10$ for Care Bear stuff and you get your credit instantly. The good thing is that it's not like these other website or offers, you don't have any commitments about having to pay a huge amount of money each month like, I don't know... COLOMBIA HOUSE...

And if you don't like Care Bears that much, you can send them back their crap and they'll refund you.

After that, the hardest part for you to get your Ipod. Refferals... You'll need to get 5 to 8 people to complete an offer like you just like you did. Talk to friends (if you have some) or do as me (it doesn't mean I have no friends).

It's not that hard and it's pretty useful if you don't have the money to buy one.

So please register with this link and complete an offer.

http://www.YourFreeVideoiPods.com/index.php?ref=4359581

and if you still have a hard time believing me. Just search for "Trainn Proof" on google. Trainn is the name of the enterprise letting you have free stuff.

I'm not some lame spam bot or anything, I'm a real person and I have bought things here on ebay, just look at my feedbacks. Anyway, thanks for your time!

This C250 (2 GIG) was my 2nd MP3 player , and overall im happy with it. It's compact size makes it easy to pocket , sound is pretty good ,although I would like louder volume as I do not use my headphones in my ear when im cycling and I prefer to listen to it with headphones around my neck. I would suggest buying better quality earbuds than the one's packaged with the C250 .It's features, including the mini LCD screen and lighted on/off button make it user friendly in dark situations. The battery life seems to be adequate , and the menus are extensive , maybe too much as the variety of ways to select music can lead to alot of confusion. Im not really a music guy , and I have been listening to some old time radio MP3s and drama cds, i have transferred 6 albums , 4 old radio series , and the NPR version of Empire Strikes Back , and its barely half way full.I have been using WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11 , and its very easy to get albums on it , most operations take less than 10 minutes in fact, and I like the way the Sansa C250 stores album art you associate with the MP3s , it's too bad you cant view it when browsing the folders either in the player or in the desktop.Would I recommend this player? yes, it is a very good alternative to IPODs for somebody not wishing to spend alot of cash on a overhyped tech gadgets. Sansa includes headphones, rechargable lithium ion battery (which charges each time you synch the device to a PC), USB synch cable , converting software for pictures (picture viewer besides albbum art). and the unit can have it's firmware updated so far only functionality fixes)

Great little MP3 for the money!

1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

First of all I bought this for a 12 year old but before buying it I did a lot of research on the MP3's out there and I say for the money this little unit has a lot going for it. With the expandable memory slot, replaceable battery and FM stations you can't go wrong. Plus it's small and I don't think that is as breakable like higher priced players. I did try the unit out and listened to the FM tuner and it sounded great but I would upgrade on the earbuds they seem a little chintzy to me. But all in all I think the money was well spent and I will have one happy kid on my list!

I bought an MP3 of Sandisk C250 and I have plenty to rechargeable battery. He has a memory of 2GB, which is a good ability and more impressive is that it can expadir his memory through micro SD card. It is fantastic! What I did not like is that the phone is a little desconfotável and not the source has to reload it in the making, so I can reload it on the computer. But in any case I recommend the product. It is a good brand, desing elegant and compact.

  sandisk sansa c250 2gb--excellent!!!

1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

I purchased this for my daughter after a friend suggested it was a pretty good mp3 player. It was a good price and it is awesome!!! It holds alot of stuff, songs, pics, has the fm radio....I absolutely love it.
Another thing that i adore about it is that it is very very very simple to download songs onto from your computer, you simply click and drag the songs from your computer file over to the device file. I am not real techno savy, so this was awesome for me!! I would highly recommend this for anyone...

Good style, size, price and quality but it too long to reload with the extra memory, one or two gigabytes, sometimes it stuck during reload, if you want to run it again you have to turn it off.

Great value for 2gb Mp3 player
Review created: 09/05/07

The sansa c250 is an excellent size and easy to carry around. The sound is great and the amount of songs/information that fit on it is also fine. I got a great deal for it on e-bay so for the money I paid its a fantastic value.
The only two drawbacks are as follow: 1) If you want to be able to recharge it using a regular wall outlet you need to buy an additional recharger (which you can get for as low as $6.00 on e-bay, but its still a bother). 2) If you need to delete files/songs you can only do so by connecting the mp3 player to your computer and deleting it through there.
Otherwise, its a great little machine and I would recommend buying it if you are not interested in paying a lot of money.

  Sansa Beath Creative Zen
Review created: 09/01/07
by:
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

I bought a Creative Zen MP3 player about six months ago and it froze on me several times and finally I sold it to get a Sansa instead. I've had it a month and so far it's been MUCH better than the Creative Zen, and I paid less for it (for the same amount of GBs!). So the bottom line is, the Sansa brand is more reliable and actually more cost-effective than a Creative Zen. It hasn't frozen once and it works great. The only things I personally don't like about it (minor things) are (1) The selector color is practically the same color as the background color (making it kind of hard to see what it is your selecting on the screen, if that makes sense) and (2) The shape is GREAT but instead of making it a rectangle long-ways (horizontal) I prefer if they would have designed it so as to make it vertical. I hope that makes sense, you can see what I mean by the pics. Basically, it's the design of an apple ipod, except you hold it the long was intead of the tall way. Sorry if that's confusing. Anyway, I highly suggest it!

  Pretty good little player!
Review created: 08/09/07
by:

Nice entry-level mp3 player. Displays easily in Windows Media Player, where you can easily add/drop songs. Good sound if you keep the EQ at lower settings -- if you push the EQ too high in the bass, it easily (and badly) distorts. Earbuds that come with it are not that good -- cheap Sony EDR-828 earbuds are much better. The "Artist" view organizes songs via "Contributing Artist" category in Media Player, so if you have some soundtracks, you see lots of artists with 1 or 2 songs ("Album" view shows you albums in alpha order, not artist order). For just a little more $$, you might want to look at the Dell DJ20, 20 gig player.

it's not bad, but not so good. I think this sansa C250 is a little bit old moedel.
It's cheaper than other brand such as Samsung, which is, in my opinion, much better, because Samsung YP-T9 can play almost every types of video files. But sansa cannot.
