My son loved the game it was in great condition and was shipped fast. I bought it because my son just got a PS3 and likes war games. Would buy again.

I started this game to see what it was like. I was in the middle of Rainbow Six, Vegas and Blazing Angels. I have not picked up either game since. I am hooked. This game will completely swallow your attention. It has increbible graphics. It is set in the 50's, but has futuristic vehicles and weapons. The storyline will keep you involved as well. I highly recommend for a shooter game, especially if you like to dispose of ugly green monsters!!!

Hi I've played the game about 20 times so far, theres not alot of negative things to say about it the single player is really good for a launch Title, the online works very well with massive 32 players online, the voice chat is setup exactly how it should be your given an option to join different voice chats with whomever you want on your team so if someone is being loud and annoying simply switch channels and bam free and clear, the gameplay is great weapons are different which is nice for a change. There is only one thing I can say that is bad and its not the games fault, Its the Playstation controller jeez that thing is aweful, when your using the thumbsticks your thumbs smash together becuase there not far enough apart, I mean come on Playstion you've been using this aweful style since the PSone, time to change it mkay, take some notes from xbox there controllers are made for first person shooters...

It was perfectly described, it came in mint condition. It arrived quickly and has worked to perfection every time I've played it. I bought it because it was at a great price and I needed something to go with my new PS3. Awesome transaction.

This is a First Person Shooter based in a alternate hhistory that has unique weapons and a great enemy to fight against. The Chimera are relentless and smart enough to give the player a challange. The variety of weapons and their many functions gives the player lots of options when trying to fight the Chimera. This game also has online play thats fast paced and has many different types of games to play that keeps players coming back again and again.

I purchased this game from someone on Ebay as a used item recently. I had heard it was a pretty good game, and I purchased it for a decent price. The story progresses at a good pace and is good; not excellent, but good. It is interesting and will keep you wondering more and more. The gameplay is great and the enemies are a decent challenge, and the weapons are really cool. Graphics are good, and I would recommend playing this game. It would be a better deal to buy it used from Ebay, rather than new. A good price would be $30 - $35 price range. If you are a fan of classic first person shooters, this is DEFINITELY FOR YOU. This game is like a Duke Nukem 3D remake with way better graphics and involved gameplay + storyline. The PS3 didn't come short at all on this one! Get it!

This game is great for 2 players. Online is very fun also. All around great game. This is a must own for your collection.

If you took the money out of your account to buy a Playstation 3, that there shows that you as an individual are a true gamer. That being said, if you have a PS3, Resistance: Fall of Man is a necessity, point blank period! Better than Halo and rivaling the likes of Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3, Resistance is what all PS3 gamers who are into the action/shooting genre need! Can't wait for the sequel!

Okay. If you're like me, and ignore all the hype surrounding this game, you were still probably expecting at least a solid game, it being the crown jewel of the PS3's launch titles. However, I was letdown.

Gameplay:

Of course, the most important aspect. The gameplay washed over me like a lukewarm wave. I was hoping the lack of rumble wouldn't affect the game very much, but without there was just something missing. The weapons lacked sparkle without a buzz in your palms. To tell the truth, they lacked more than that. Sure, the weapons are unique, but you never feel like anyone is more useful than any other for any given situation. In fact the weapons are a little to unique, to the point where the effectiveness of them is hampered by the manner you have to use them.

The controls were pretty smooth, if not counter intuitive. I can understand WHY they wouldn't want to mimic the Halo control scheme, but I can't believe they didn't have the goombahs to suck up their pride and use a very effective control system. 'Oh look, the L2 and R2 buttons are more trigger like!...but hey, let's use the R2 for weapon selection!' My only real complaint is the zoom. It feels so clunky, all of a sudden your gun is in the middle of the screen and you've zoomed in. No transition, and no telling how your gun got there out of nowhere.

Overall the gameplay felt like a frenzied Call of Duty with Serious Sam overtones. The enemies aren't particularly smart, but there are just so damn many of them and they're so powerful that tactics become moot on their end.

Visuals and Sound:

Yes, I'm combining the two, because the two are so closely linked. I kept seeing grenades go off and shots hitting me and expecting a fitting audio accompaniment. That said, the audio was nice, just badly implemented. The graphics however, were very unimpressive, not just because you'd expect them to be more polished, but because the visual design is so damn generic. Oh look a war torn town. And an enemy stronghold, which should have obviously superior technology...with thin metal rails for pathways! Identical enemies that seem to be using the same animation at the same time!

Summary: I find the lack of originality perturbing, and the audio and visual half assed. Actually, I find the whole game half assed. It just doesn't have any appeal, no reason to keep this game in mind longer than the time it takes to trudge through the campaign. Remember Pariah, Project Snowblind, and every Unreal game since the first couple? No, and you'll soon forget Resistance.

Not worth playing, and certainly not worth getting a PS3 for.

If you own a PS3 you have to buy this game. This is in my opinion is better than Halo (which never really impressed me all that much). Everything abut this game is great there is nothing that I disliked about this game, it is one of my favorite games. There is no way that you could dislike this game.
