BioShock (Xbox 360)

This has been one of the best Xbox 360 entries in awhile. Primarily a First Person Shooter with elements of a Role-Playing Game. Great moral questions arise as the game develops and the different landscapes that arise throughout your journey through the underwater city are very creative.
I'll be building a new PC rig soon and Bioshock is on my short list of games that I'll choose to break it in to the world of gaming.

by far one of the best game I have played in some time now BioShock is a revolution in the shooter genre that will forever change the expectations for the FPS. Going beyond "run and gun corridors," "monster-closet AIs" and static worlds, BioShock creates a living, unique and unpredictable FPS experience. BioShock is the Shooter 2.0. After your plane crashes into icy uncharted waters, you discover a rusted bathysphere and descend into Rapture, a city hidden beneath the sea. Constructed as an idealistic society for a hand picked group of scientists, artists and industrialists, the idealism is no more. Now the city is littered with corpses, while wildly powerful guardians roam the corridors, mutated little girls scavenge the dead, and genetically modified citizens ambush you at every turn. Players must ultimately make meaningful choices and mature decisions, culminating in the grand question: do you exploit the innocent survivors of Rapture...or save them?

An amazingly original game with unbelievably superb graphics! I love this game, especially on a 50" HDTV!

This is a great game!! I definitely wouldn't recommend it for the kiddies though. It's a very twisted, graffic, adult game.
Normally I'm not really into shooters or action games but I love this game. From the very begining it just seams to suck you in. Maybe it's the excellent voice overs/voice acting, or whatever you want to call it. The game just seams to flow right along and tells you the story as you play without 5 million cut sceens.
I like the fact that it has a map you can access and it shows you where you've been along with the places you missed. I've played other games where you just kinda run around blind and have no idea where or what you missed. Another big plus is, on alot of the missions you do there's an arrow above your head so you know where to go. I hate games that just say where to go but you have no idea where it is or how to get there.

Wow there's so much I could say about this game but I dont want to ruin anything. So I'll just say if you like shooters or action games you'll definitely love this one.

I love the complexity and storyline of this game. I can see why this is one of the top-rated XBOX 360 games to date. It keeps you on your toes the whole time, and forces you to be creative in such a way that no other game does. If you want a simple, FPS game like Halo, that's basic, with a simple storyline, this isn't for you. But if you want to be challenged, intrigued, and happily confused at times by a game that makes you think, then I recommend this game whole-heartedly.

I highly recommend this shooter, The graphics and special effect are awesome. AAnd it is'snt easy to beat either.

This game is one of the best games I have ever played! The storyline is very in depth, and they manage to give you a pretty complete back story without tedious, drawn out cinemas or long bouts of unnecessary monologues and dialogs. You can take the game at your own pace and be as meticulous as you would like, going backwards if you need to, or zoom through for the beat-the-game-quickest gamers. Customization allows you to sneak around or blow through in a blaze of glory! Set traps or just blow up everything! There are three different levels of play for beginners or experts, though I recommend going through all three for the most complete game play experience. There's quite a bit of personalization with your choices, allowing you to upgrade the items you use the most. This game is definitely not for children, the violence and language is pretty extreme, I play when my 10 year old is gone or in bed. This game is also very very creepy, another plus for me. I had a hard time playing at night alone when I first purchased the games. The only drawback that I noticed was that the difficulty of the "boss" was a bit disappointing. Overall, I would definitely say buy this game!

I kept reading reviews of how good this game is. Its not that I feel that it is a bad game. It seems like it is completely lacking challenge. If you get lost, they put a giant arrow to point where to go. If that didn't make it too easy, they added a way to get tips. If you die, you instantly wake up ready to go again. All of the damage that you did to whatever killed you before you died is still done. So if something kills you, just run at it again and do a little more damage. If it kills you again... oh well, you get the idea. This game leaves very little need to be skilled. You just have to be easily entertained by monotony.

The greatest game ever made. This will run your life for the two weeks that you are playing it, I'm not even kidding. I especially love this game because it has a long single player, and unlike call of duty 4, it takes you weeks to beat. Bone chilling gameplay, addictive weapons and gene tonics. Visit Rapture, will ya?

This is a stellar game. If you don't have it, go get it. One of the best first person games I have ever played.

Bioshock recreates the first person shooter... the graphics are stunning, the cutscenes are perfect, the customization is the best ive ever seen. definitely one of my all time favorite games.

This guy is awesome. Item shipped/arrived at my house the same day....shipping/payment confirmations were sent very quickly, kept informed via email, perfect seller + the game was still in the plastic..doesn't get better.

Bioshock sounded like a good game and the reviews made me very interested. This game was horrible. Sure the graphics were nice and everything. The gameplay had a lot to be desired. Why doesn't it have a two player mode? I was not impressed with this one.

99% of my Xbox 360 playing time is spent playin NHL08, Madden 08, or NCAA Football 08. I am a bug sports game fanatic. So when I decided to buy this I was skeptical. But...this game rocks. Everything, story, graphics, gameplay, abou the game is great. Between Bio-Shock, Mass Effect, and The Simpsons Game, I actually have 3 games that I will play that are NOT sports games. That is how good all 3 of these games are. Do yourself a favor and get any 1 of the 3 games, if not all 3. It also helps that the seller (donniek23) shipped the game super fast and it was in mint condition. It almost seems like the only thing that kept this from beng new was that the plastic wrap was removed. Seems like th game was never played and is in pristine condition. So thanks donniek23.

the best storied FPS ever , big Halo fan but this is a must for all adult Xbox360 owners. The art direction is amazing. The character voices adds true drama to every encounter. The soundtrack was both artistic and yet so creepy. The story was good enough to be in hardbound.

I've been playing video games for 30 years, since the original Pong unit came out in the 70s, and let me tell you, this is the best game I have ever played. It has exceeded my expectations in design, adventure, scenery, storyline .... everything.

The day I received it, I sat down at 3 PM to take a break and test it out for about a half hour and became so engrossed, I didn't turn it off until 3 AM! Thats unheard of for me.

I highly recommend this to everyone.

awesome game! creepy as hell, but no multiplayer. it has a great story awesome game, and it puts you in a mind set where you feel like your being followed. rapture is a baaaaaaad hood! lol you'll love this game!
