Motorola I870 (Sprint Nextel)

This was the 1st of two I bought needless to say this will be the only one I am keeping. Phone is awsome if you have another one please let me know!! Thank you so much!!!!!!

best buck for it's class. perfect size phone for carring. great picture phone pictures are very clear an zoom to focus is very clear.Very durable. Features are very easy to get to an have many different features available than most. Battery is very dependable, an it lasts very long.It has a security system to protect your info an messages

This was a great purchase. The phone was in excellent condition, this phone has everything you could want. It has a camera, MP3 player, lots of space for contacts, full color screens on the outside and inside, it is great! Right now, there is not a better Motorola phone on the market. If you can get your hands on one of these phones, I'm certain you will be happy with your purchase!

I have had this phone now since it came out, i have since passed it on to my father who also uses nextel he loves it it works great and takes a beating we work as carpenters, www.stevescarpentry.org , and we both put our phones through alot of battle and use and this one lasts!

ahhh the i870. Its not a bad phone, but its not a good phone as far as cellular devices go. I mean lets face it, in terms of what phones can do these days, it misses par by a couple of years. Motorola is not to blame because the i-series is exclusively for Nextel, so for nextel, Its a good phone. All in all? Web capabilities, multi-media messanger, GPS navigation, screen resolution and software downloadability as a few big steps cell phone makers have made towards virual computers on our wastes and in our left pockets. Nextel simply isnt keeping up.

...but i guess the 'chirp-chirp' makes up for that, huh. =]

just put my card and work only complain is the spring does not open all the way

I am new on ebay and last 2 trasaction were unsuccesful.This last one I didn't what i was supposed to .. i870 brand new phone.. what i receive was a box full of newspaper and junk parts from other cellphones. I t was terrible ... Seller gave me a hard time to get a refund...

It was what he said it was, and it works so far!!!! Everything went well with the purchase and will do it again!!!!

what i liked about this item was it has bluetooth and you can also use it as a mp3 player. the one thing i dislike about the item i bought it thinking it was refurbished but when i receieved it. it looked like it had been ran over a couple of times.

What I like is that I could buy a phone without a contract attached. What I dislike is that the phones are advertised as 'like new' but are actually pretty worn. But overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would probably go that route again.

I loved this phone. It was the phone i had always wanted, and i got it at ebay for about half the price the store had it for. it came with everything i needed and worked like new. the only problem i had was that the memory card reader it came with did not work and i had to purchase my own at my own expense. the extra things that came with the phone also adding some more cost on, and having one of them not work was upsetting and made me wish i had bought just the phone. that was my only problem, but overall i enjoy the phone.

I love this phone a friend had one and he loved it. It has many features which are useful plus the phone itself is bigger than most today for easy handling.

The signal/coverage on this phone is HORRIBLE! The phone looks great, has a lot of bonus features that are fun, some that are quite useful, but the fact that the little red x comes up where your signal strength bars should be is enough to over-ride any of the positive aspects of this phone!!!

everything i wanted and got it for a good price. works perfectly. my only negative is my personal issue, not knowing how to put the music on the phone.

Phone was in great shape but had some scratches on it. I was under the impresion that is was brand new/refurbished. It was refurbished but had use on it. all and all, the phone is great, and the seller shipped very proptly. I would have NO problem buying again from this seller.

I am really happy with my i870 and people who have newer, more expensive phones, wish they also had gone with the i870. Even the seller who had gotten a new i880 told me he wished he had just kept the i870 but he had a service plan change and had an opportunity to get a new phone. It is not in the current Nextel/Sprint offering but don't let that detour you on getting one, it is still on the Motorola site. I just slipped my sim card in from my i760 and everything was still there and worked perfectly. I didn't even notify Nextel/Sprint of the change; it was sensed by their system and they automatically updated the records and when I questioned it they said it was no problem and people do it all the time, no extra charges. I do recommend using the clip or some other cover for it so that you don't scratch that big beautiful screen. Mine didn't come with a manual but I downloaded one from the Motorola site for free and now I've got it on-line, not the clumsy big book that falls apart anyways! You are going to love this phone!

I have really enjoyed this phone's features, and stylish appearance. The push button flip is very convenient, and makes it easy to answer incoming calls when the phone is set for flip activation. The large external and internal displays are also a big plus. Downloadable "real music" ringtones are excellent, although it would be nice to be able to use music from the MP3 player as ringtones. Games and applications are great on the large display. The 1.3 MP camera is very convenient, and takes good pictures, a bit large in the storage department, but with the expandable TransFlash memory, it's not a problem. The MP3 player is nice, not a requirement, but it's very convenient. The user interface is easily understandable, and the menu icons are extremely self-explanatory with both an icon, and text label for each menu item. The ability to set hot-keys is also a big plus for people who do not want to scroll through the menu, and just want one touch access to specific features. Speaking of one-touch, the one-touch walkie-talkie feature is excellent. I love being able to set it to my husband's phone and all I have to do is press the walkie-talkie button at any time, and he's right there. An excellent product, and highly recommended.

This item caught my attention because at the time i was looking into a i870 model phone which had some sort of hardware problem. Im handy at fixing cell phones so i bought it hoping to fix this item. I recieved it and worked on it a bit and got it to work.

My son lost his phone while in college, i needed to replace it immediately being that is his only source of communication with me. I am a frequent bidder with EBAY, and i found a cell phone exactly like his in WONDERFUL condition. The seller said it was used, but it appeared to be brand new! I was very happy to have found this seller, who answered all my questions immediately before bidding, and after the bidding was closed. I received the phone in exactly three days after winning! I didn't expect it so soon, but appreciated the fact that the seller understood that it was urgent that get it soon.
