What a joy to find on Ebay!I bought this item after my fiance played the demo on Xbox 360. I looked on Ebay and after going thru a few I found this one. I purchased this for my son. He likes shooter games. I'm not quite the gamer he is, but quickly got hooked on this game. It stays true to the tradition of the previous Call of Duty versions. The variety of weapons and characters keep the game fun. The multi-player experience is as good as any other shooter games, and the different campaigns and topographies keep the challenge going.

Call of duty 3 is even better then call of duty 2. The multiplayer is amazing. Real world war 2 battles.Awesome weapons. The cool new thing is the destructible environments so now you cant hid behind a tombstone forever eventually once enough bullets have been popped in it is useless cover so you better run. Who also would have thought they could make the graphics any better which they did and they are amazing. The single player as usual is not a really long one but where the singleplayer ends the fun on multiplayer begins. Also a new thing added is nazis trying to take your weapon and they will pop out and try to grab it so you need to use the buttons to shake them off before they take it and blast you to bits with your own weapon. For any call of duty fan this game is great so run out and purchase it or buy it on ebay do not miss out

Call of Duty 3, xbox 360I have been a fan of the Call of Duty games since they started and Call of Duty 3 is no let down. These games only get better and better. Great game play, Great graphics, Great AI & Great Story line.

If you’ve paid any attention whatsoever to the way that most big publishers handle their franchises, the fate of the once-seminal Call of Duty franchise should come as no surprise. Yearly sequels to big series – even if that timeframe precludes any kind of real creativity going into the project – are the preferred way to get the maximum profit out of the investment. Publisher Activision passed the reins from series creator Infinity Ward to Activision-owned Treyarch for Call of Duty 3, and the developer clearly didn’t go far out of its way to improve the Call of Duty formula.

Here is my opinion for Call of Duty 3.
The Good:
The graphics seems a little bit more polished. I like the wavy grass when you are running through the field. It also seems they tried to add a little more realism with the screen going a little blurry when there are a lot of explosions and bullets flying around you.
Even when trying to get the achievements on Veteran difficulty, you bullets are very effective. The FG42 will kill with 1 shot.
There is also an improvement of your squad members. They don't always wait for you to make the first move. Many will storm ahead of you often to help identify where enemies are.
The Bad:
FIRST AND FOREMOST IS THE CHECKPOINT SYSTEM. Even though you get to the checkpoints, it doesn't save every time as in previous CODs. You have have a good run but get killed and find your self having to do everything all over again.
Its frustrating to see your squad members and enemies stand toe to toe, empty a full clip and nobody gets killed.
You enter a room with your squad members have stormed into 5 seconds ahead and when you walk in, a guy in plain sight with his back turned to you turns around and shoots you.
Your squad members try to shoot through the wall and don't realize they aren't helping the cause.
The enemy notices you from 100 feet away with his back towards you and you didn't fire a single shot.
There are some situations where the enemy is dug in and no matter how careful you are, you will be shot and killed without seeing who did it.
Chapter 8 "We have the cross the road". You will hear this A LOT!!!!!!! (see checkpoint complaint)
There are times when you shoot an enemy who is hiding behind a tree or stair rail and no matter how many time you shoot him, he will not die because your bullets hit the tree, even if he sticks his head out to see where you are.
You aren't able to jump over or you get stuck simple things that shouldn't be any problem when trying to get away from grenades and bombs. Even getting out of trenches becomes a problem.
In the end, COD 3 is worth playing.

Call of Duty 3Great first person shooter game. Greater detail and story line than COD 2. Game controls are easy to use and manipulate. Only thing I don't like is you cant bypass that videos that play before every chapter. Every time you restart the game you have to listen to the same story. I believe that it is used as filler while the game loads. At least they could have added several vignettes to rotate through that way it doesn't get so boring.
NOW don't get me wrong this only happens because it takes me several day to finish a chapter, so if your a geek this wont be a problem for you!
