Motorola RAZR V3m

Needed a new cell phone, found the one I liked easily. Works wonderfully. The only dislike I had was how long it took me to get it, that was my fault for not getting to faster shipping. Price was very reasanable and phone was in good condition.

This is by far the best cell phone I've ever purchased, and I've been using cell phones since the late 1980's. It is easy to operate, and it has the best clarity and reception of any phone I've owned. When in use, it is easy to cradle to the ear, and when not in use, fits easily inside a pocket, including my too tight blue jeans. Great features, rings, wallpapers and styling. I love this red phone! Excellent price too.

The phone was in Very good condition. I decided to go with the razor because of it's slimness and also it is a more comfortable fit from the ear to the mouthpiece.

Unfortunately, I don't think the call quality is that good. Alot of people tell me that my vmail messages are coming out mumbled...

I decided to purchase this cellphone because the one I had was to bulky or big. This phone is suitable to my taste and more easy to carry and to access main keys. As of this moment I do not dislike anything about it. Its a great phone that was meant just for me!

I like the phone because it holds thousands of texts messages and I don't have to worry about deleting them. The battery life is good especially since the phone is really thin. Just an excellent phone to have.

The good: The Motorola Razr V3 has a striking design and comes with a worthy list of features including Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and world phone support.

The bad: Unfortunately, the Motorola Razr V3 supports only video playback, the controls take acclimation, and the call volume is a bit low.

The bottom line: The original thin phone, the Motorola Razr V3 has a sexy design and useful features, but its performance isn't always up to par.

I bought it for my wife, Unfortunately the seller was a scammer and took the money and never sent the product. I filed a claim and got my money back from PayPal but the whole transaction was terrible experience to get ripped off like that. That seller should be banned!!!!!!!!!!

bought the NewPhone three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

The product itself was excellent, however, the seller shipped me a locked phone that had been part of a buy one get one free deal and verizon was unwilling to connect it. Had to send it back to seller and get a refund. Seller agreed to a full refund, however, only refunded the purchase price, did not include a refund for the shipping. I then purchased a different model phone from "Wirefly".

Turn around time was excellent. The item was in int coondition and will continue to business with this paypal seller.

I decided to buy it for it's looks mainly and how small it is. The battery life on it is great. I charged it up last night, turned it on at 7am this morning and it still has a 1 of 4 battery left at currently 10:30pm. Only bad thing is, if you talk on it a lot or use the web browser on it a lot, it will drain the battery really fast, but that's why I have a house charger and car charger. I also like it because even though it only uses a digital signal and doesn't use an analog signal, I can typically pick up a signal anywhere I'm at, especially here at the house, and I live out in the middle of nowhere. We have a cell phone tower about 10 miles away from us and so it just barely is able to pick up a signal, but it comes through clear, which is what matters to me. I love using the internet browser on it. This has to be my favorite thing on the whole phone. You can check your email, check your minutes on your Verizon account, check sports news, check the news, and check the weather if it's looking rough outside. It really makes it great to use that it's so easy to read and see with it being in color. All in all I like this phone and would recommend it to anyone. I bought one for my mom for Christmas and it took her a little while to get used to using it, but now she loves it and thanks me all the time for getting it for her.

I bought this at a friends request. I love the phone. He doesn't like it. He finds the mirriad features available on the phone too much for him to understand. He gets confused by the technology.

I love it (as I show him how to use it). It is litterally like holding a computer in your hand. The amount of features built into the device are more than most people will ever use or need. I keep expecting it to brew me a cup of espresso some morning for me! :-D

I love the phone I purchased on ebay. I have not had any trouble at all with it. The transaction was quick and accurate. Thank you.

I've owned this phone for a few months now, and can safely write a review with the knowledge I've gained.
The phone (OEM) lacks alot of features (using Verizon) that other carriers allow, but can easily be modded to change/add/unlock features.
Sprint doesn't block these festures like Verizon does. There is also an "Alltel" firmware that is available (search).
I modded my phone, and can now make my own ring tones (free), transfer pictures/videos/movies (free) using MPT (Mobile Phone Tools).
Once all the features are "unlocked" using SEEM edits (search) this phone simply becomes "GREAT"!
The phone itself it sleek, thin, but almost unbearably w i d e.
The built-in camera is decent at best, but lack of any flash makes taking any worthy pictures almost impossible, unless outdoors in sunlight. But even then, over-exposure is a problem. Definately use a regular ol' camera if you want a decent picture.
Movies can be recorded as well, but are limited to 15 seconds, unless you "mod" the phone, and then you can get almost 5 minutes of video!
Overall I'd have to say this phone is built for modders in mind, as once done so the phone is 150% better than OEM.
Before I modded this phone, I nearly sent it back to Verizon because of all the disabled features that only Verizon disables. If you use another carrier, then you should be fairly happy with OEM.

The battery....well, it is horrible, but again, can be made acceptable with "mods".
And last but not least..FREE WAP!! (again, with mods).

Good OEM phone, GREAT modded phone.
Digital only, so the signal will usually be lower than Tri-Mode phones, but depending on your area this may or may not be a problem.

I've owned this phone for a couple of months now and absolutely love it. It has a nice 1.3 megapixel camera, super slim design, and great call quality.

First of all, the camera takes rather nice pictures at 200KB each. The internal memory can hold 50 or so of these pictures, yet with the ability to add up to 2GB via a micro SD card, your phone could be home to literally thousands of photos.

Then, thanks to Windows Media Player (version 10 or higher), syncing music to your phone is a snap. All you need is a USB cable to connect your phone to your PC and voila, your phone is now your portable music player as well.

Last, the design is incredible. It just looks and feels cool, and it can be taken literally anywhere.

Bottom line:

If you're looking for a portable phone with great features and solid call quality, this phone is for you!

Best cell phone I've used! It is small, stylish and works very well. Don't know for sure how the quality is yet though.

This phone is fully loaded, don't know why someone wouldn't love it (unless the service from the carrier is bad). I have had the V710 in the past, and features are very similar, but upgraded and faster. Also like the fact the MicroSD memory is located under the battery.

Unlike other phones that feel like plastic, the RAZR has a solid feel to it. This phone is feature packed. I have the Alltel version, and they do not reload the menus in the phone like Verizon does. They also do extensive testing on their phones before releasing them (why some phones are released late with Alltel).
A previous reviewer on here must not have known how to use the phone correctly, but I would like to address the following:
- Reprogrammable shortcut keys, allows 1 button access to calculator, other tools, and calander (day of the week).
- I have not experienced any lags between menus
- Text messages are fast for me (Alltel Service)
- Time, day, and Date is on my external display

This is cool phone. Very nice design. I like the fact that it make by Motorola which is excellent in product quality. Easy to operate. I love this phone and will use it a lot more than my old LG which it last less than a year.

Before getting this phone i did much research..i guess i missed the reviews about all the bad things.. ive only had this phone for two weeks.

CONS:

1)lag time between menus
2)it takes close to two minutes to delete texts
3)grease build up left on the phone
4)you cant send a text message by using your speed dial
5)theres no auto erase option in the text messaging settings menu
6)i dont like where the battery connector is located
7)this phone does not display the day of the week on it
8)does not display the time on the external display while your on the phone
9)has that sprint logo on the external display, i dont see how i can change
that
10)for how much this phone cost, there should not be this many problems
11)takes forever to for a text to go through

Now i dont know about any of the other features like the tv, the music player or the bluetooth yet..i havent used these features yet..i am seriously thinking about returning this phone i have a couple of weeks to decide. Maybe ill get a PDA phone since all i do mostly is text..

I have had 4 razrs in the last year. The first one abruptly stopped functioning a month after I bought it. The second gradually became inaudible until I could no longer hold a conversation unless the other person was shouting. The third emitted a loud, migraine-inducing buzzing noise, and the fourth garbles the voice of whoever I'm speaking to beyond recognition. I understand that defective phones happen, but 4 in a row seems a bit much. Everyone I have ever known has had problems with their razrs as well.

I also live in an area with reception issues and the razr has been consistently terrible at picking calls and maintaining them.

So if you want a phone that looks cool and with lots of nifty features, and live in the city, and don't mind exchanging your phone every 1-3 months, I recommend this phone. For anyone who wants to talk on the phone, for the love of God find another phone, because this is the most overhyped piece of technology I've ever had the misfortune of owning.
