I have a 7 year old son who loves the xbox 360 and wanted one of his own. So I wanted to get him one but thought I would save a little money and get one on E-BAY. Well if you have a child that you want to make happy then don't do it on e-bay!!!! He only had the console a few weeks (only about two weeks of playing time for a few hours a day) before the unit started locking up and red lighting. Now he is obviously very upset and I am in the process of trying to fix it. I got no help whatsoever from the seller and none so far from the xbox customer service site. So if you are buying for a child do yourself a favor, spend the extra money for a new one and get the warranty...it is worth it in the long run...DO NOT PLAY "LUCK OF THE DRAW" WHEN IT COMES TO A YOUNG CHILD!! I learned my lesson...

I believe the xbox 360 is just an average system. It has some pros but it also has a lot of cons.
Pros - Great graphics, good selection of games, controller fits perfect into your hands, xbox live.
Cons - Overheats very fast, red rings of death possiblility, poor Microsoft customer Service, can get costly(xbox live + hd dvd player + memory = a lot of $$), Not the most reliable system out there.
Why did I buy this system instead of a PS3 or Wii?
I got the xbox 360 because it was made by Mircosoft and the original xbox was good. Unfortunatly Microsoft failed this time and they did not produce the best system out there.
Overall - The xbox 360 is a good system if you can deal with all the cons. I was very dissapointed with Microsoft's poor Customer Service when I contacted them when I had the red rings of death. It seemed to be they rushed the system and forgot the value of the customer. Sorry Microsoft but I am no longer investing my money in the xbox 360.
My advice - My advice is test all the systems out there. Explore your options. Some people may love the 360 while others love the PS3 or the Wii. This is just my opinion on the Xbox 360, hope this helps you with your decision.

XBOX 360I recieved my console and it looks brand new. Controller was a little dirty in the cracks and stuff but overall it was in perfect condition. What I didn't like was that the ebay listing stated: In Original Box, when I recieved it, it was not in the xbox original box, and it didn't come with an owners manual or anything.

he told me i had no communication when i sent 2 messages to recive one from him, he then sent a broken controller when i told him he did he did not respond, then he repleid to my NEGATIVE feedback and said you have to sync controllers, i know that buddy!! the 2 joy sticks are broken! never ever ever buy from him again

do not by the xbox 3690 if it was made before may of 2007,1 out of 3 is defective or 33% of them. they all have the over heat problem(3 red lights) if they where made before may 2007.so if you are looking to buy a used xbox 360 make shore you ask for the date it was made. i lost 280.00 dollers to find this out.if you have a xbox 360 and it has the 3 red lights go to

stay positiveThe company was good because they could have made me bought the second one I one, new bidder not knowing the rules. The System and components was in outstanding condition... Unfortunately it was not the "Platinum Version" like it was said the title of the sale. I was kinda disappointed. you should really tell it how it is for sales. but overall it was a good deal for a new video game system.

They shipped my item fast and they stayed in contact with me. I thought something was defective with my item and the game me tips how to fix it and they said I could send it back and they would send me a replacement. Overall I rate them a 8/10.
