Good Value

Pros:
Value-priced. Good quality and quick for basic printing and copying.
Cons:
Difficult to align paper in manual feed slot. Slow scanning.
Printing is of good quality for common letter size, and 20 lb paper ( which is all I've yet tried). The Manual paper feed is difficult to use - it is hard to line paper up well. I haven't jammed the feed yet - but I have wrinkled a few pages.
Photocopying is fast. Scanning is quite slow, and includes having to pre-scan.
I like the economy features: power save, draft mode (300dpi, also allows a faster print) toner save. All these features can be pre-set and saved. Also allows the convenience of photocopying without the computer on.
Software - is easy to use and does not interfere with any of my other programs.
Physically: I like the paper tray - fits 250 pages and sits under the printer - not jutting out the front. The noise level and heat are both satisfactory. When printing, it is so quick, that the noise is not a factor. The toner smell is quite noticeable - but then my last printer was an inkjet.
Style is okay: a compact , and well balanced package, and a dull, neutral colour.
