No plm with download from HP website for the driver that my laptop don't have a list of that Hewlett Packard Deskjet 450Ci InkJet Printer driver in there. I bought it form him, It was used, but still good working pretty good, sometime, it may jammed few time, I can reload paper back again, it will be fine for now. One Problem -- I ordered CD-ROM for driver and it will not install and do nothing. Better way to get the driver to match Hewlett Packard Deskjet 450Ci InkJet Printer to install by automaticlly.
The unit is a refurb, so not sure if it's a wear & tear issue or a design flaw, but the lid is hard to flip open (the seller warned that this was the case). This is somewhat of a hinderance at times and I always feel as if I'm on the edge of breaking it when I'm opening it up to use. Didn't expect too much from a portable unit, but this sucker is SLOW!
All that said, it performs the function for which I purchased it - printing from my laptop while on the road. Good quality and clarity of print.
I purchased this to use as a portable means to print customer orders while on the road. Unfortunately, the infrared is not reliable and the paper jams half the time while feeding through a print job. Save your money!
We purchased 75 of these for our field staff at the Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection. We needed to use the cheap government issue paper and that may be a factor, one by one the printers came back they jammed on the paper. We sent them back to Hp and they replaced them with more that did the same. Finally we gave up and purchased Canon iP90 and replaced all the Hp printers. After our experience we would never purchase an Hp printer again. Only thing to say is if you buy this printer don't be surprised if its a total loss. They print when they want to and are subject to frequent paper jams.
I have used this printer for over 2 years now and never had any issues. The battery works for several hours and I even bought a unit for my parents. The trick is to use HEAVY WHITE paper - do not use recycled paper!!!! The black cartridge lasts forever and the quality is very good. The unit is very light.
My first attempt to buy an item for a fix price, was a tricktrap. The item price jump up almost 100%.
My second attemp, I submit complete payment info and printed my invoice. My payment was never process. Now I understand you are puting some type of non payment complaint up against me. Well good luck. bye.
This priter is lightweight and mobile The best thing about this printer is the quality. This printer will print up PHOTO Quality images when you use photo paper. I do have a nice hint. DO not use recycled paper with this. USE the HEAVIER paper and this will stop alot of problems and work great for you.
In the meantime I have made the same experience with the printer: it prints whenever 'it feels like it', and this is not very often; more 'nothing at all. The first couple of days it printed properly, even with the HP Bluetooth card. Strangely enough HP recommends a different printer card, but at the same time offer their BLuetooth printer card for $ 80.The tech support is expensive ( $ 39 for a totally useless telephone conversation) and sucks; seems they are aware of the defects, but are trying to conceal them! They 'offer a higher price' for an exchange with the new Deskjet 460 than HP offers it for the time being on its website! Result: Stay away from this printer Dr. Peter Feuerstein
I read a review on this type of printer and I'm having the same problem. I guest that the HP 450 was taken off the market and replaced with the HP 460 because of its inadequate preformance. It only prints when it wants, which is not very often. If you intend on buying one you better have lots of patience.
I brought this item however when i received it and started using it I saw tht is was not woring properly. I tonly prints some of the time the carriage for the ribbon appears to be broke. I did not get to open ot and use it as soon as received it so i am sure I am stuck with it but i realy believ tht this was malfunctioning when I purchased it.I am not sure I WOULD BUY ANOTHER USED PRINTER BECAUSE U DONT KNOW WHAT U R GETTING. I AM OUT OF OVER $100.0 AN SIOL DONT HAVE A WORKING PRINTER, .

Pros: Lightweight, very small, will fit anywhere
Cons: Little bit on expensive side, and no case, and short warranty
My and I purchased this printer about one year ago. It cost $265.00, this included tax. We bought it from Curcuit City. Since that time they have closed up. So I have to depend on the manufacturer if anything goes wrong with it. I usually like to use it with my lap top. It is very small and lightweight. It is very nice for going on trips and printing things just in case of emergencies. In which I did have one last year and I needed to print some photographs off of my lap top. My daughter lost out dog and we had to send pictures home while we were on vacation in Florida. This printer did the...
