the phone was in excellent condition. I bought it because i lost my cell phone and wanted to find one just like it. Cell phone company couldnt get it to work at first, had a different company look at it and they got it to work.
I am a us cellular agent and this phone is the top phone they currrently quit selling them in my area and everyone wants one its kinda funny..... lol but yes deffinatly great reliable phone...........
In general, I LOVE Nokia. This one was a used one though and I think it likely had been returned due to an odd defect. At first the phone worked great, but then it would only vibrate and not ring. Now it changes from 1 call to the next as to whether it feels like ringing. I think it's just defective, but I didn't pick up a warranty so just have to limp along until I'm up for a renewal of a discounted phone on the cell plan. I am sure it's a great phone otherwise.
I was with Verizon Wireless in the midwest area and after switching to U.S. cellular and getting my 6225i, i don't want to go back to another phone. The signal is phenomenal. Also the feautures with the phone are endless, with Bluetooth, High-quality camera, High-quality video, Easy navigation, built in infared, memory card expansion, very nice speakerphone, MP3 player, and fully-functional FM radio that works very well. Plus the phone is built to last. All around awesome phone that outperforms many of it's overpriced competitors. It's too bad that U.S. cellular discontinued phone.
I got it because other reviews said it was a good phone. I came to find out that it is a great phone. I have mine on my belt as I type and I love it. I have had my 6255i since December and it has been nothing but bliss. I have a 512 mmc card in my phone and currently have 126 songs saved on my phone (I use my phone as an MP3 player)but I'm only using about half the memory. The phone uses a program called .acc that is ultra compact but still gives great quality. I also bought the data cable off ebay for about $15 and that is how I get all of my cds on the phone without it costing me another cent. I download my pictures to my computer and do just about anything I want with my phone. The actual hardware of the phone is also great. I work a lot and so drop my phone a lot but it has yet to even crack let alone break. In all I love my phone and am searching for another one to buy my girlfriend so she can do the same thinks that I do.

Im in customer service for Alltel, I can tell u that nobody ever calls in to complain about this phone! Who would not want a phone that is the BEST coverage (NOKIA IS!) and MP3 with digital zoom and camera with a Flash. And last but cerainly NOT least, BLUETOOTH! Who does not love bluetooth technology?! Great Phone all around, and there is a slot in back for memory card! Great phone nokia came out with, and their first flip/bluetooth! Needless to say, I have 3 Nokia 6255i... and should get rid of them, so I will sell one but keep other two!
The Nokia 6255i is the best cell phone I have have ever owned. It has great features and is a great value for the price. The picture and video qualities are phenomenol and it is very easy to use. I will stop short of calling it the perfect cell phone because there are a few minor creature features that I wished it had, but they are more features of convenience than functionality. However, I will say that the Nokia 6255i is the closest that one can get to performance in a cellular device.
This phone performs extremely well in areas of poor signal strength. I work in the Appalachian Mountains in Southern WV and the topography is definately not friendly to cell phone users. The Nokia 6255i is without a doubt the finest phone I've ever owned... period. My other brand phones aren't even in the race! If you need to talk, this phone walks!!!
WE ALL WAITED FOR THIS PHONE FOR A LONG TIME, AND IT IS NOW HERE. COMBINING BLUETOOTH, VIDEO, MP3 AND EVEN AN FM RADIO THAT REALLY WORKS, OUTSIDE ANYWAY. NICE AND LOUD, AND RECEPTION IS FLAWLESS. OF COURSE THAT IS ONLY ON THE U.S. CELLULAR NETWORK. THE PHONE IS CAPABLE OF PHENOMENAL SIGNAL, BUT ONLY IF THERE IS A TOWER TO USE IT. U.S. CELLULAR HAS A BETTER NETWORK THAN VERIZON BECAUSE THEY USE VERIZON’S TOWERS IN ADDITION TO THEIR OWN. I FEEL SORRY FOR ALL THE VERIZON PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT PAY MORE THAN THEY SHOULD FOR SERVICE THAT IS NOT AS GOOD. THE 6255i IS A STEP DOWN FROM SOME OTHER MODELS OF NOKIA THAT INCORPORATE PDA FEATURES, BUT IS GREAT NONE THE LESS.
