Desperate Housewives - The Complete First Season (2005, DVD)

I really like the ladies from Wisteria Lane, it has drama, comedy, and more. I wanted to buy it because the show airs on Sunday nights and I work. I plan to buy the next seasons also.

"Desperate Housewives" is an absolute phenomenon! Since that first episode the I have been hooked. This is easily the most popular show in the country...is a breath of fresh air. After so many of my favourite TV shows ended in 2003 and 2004, I was looking for something new to watch, but I never thought I'd find something as brilliant as Desperate Housewives. A mix of great comedy and pure soap opera. It has mystery and romance, twists and cliffhangers.You will get sucked in.

Well worth the time to watch. Much entertainment for our whole family. Will make you want season 2.

My fiance bought this to see it from the beginning. She just got into it this season and wanted to watch the first season to better understand it. She loves it, and says it is a very entertaining show.

I bought this dvd for my wife. She loves this show. It was a used dvd, I expected there to be a little bit of scratches but the dvds were in perfect condition. Very good product. Also the shipping was very fast.

the show is funny,i think it will become a modern day classic,can't beat the humor,and the shows are hour long shows not 30 min. I think there are about 4 shows per disk,I acctually had a marathon I wathced all of the shows it took about 2 days to watch almost non stop.

I decided to buy this for cost as a XMAS present for my sister. Hope it works, have not tried it but came packaged nice and promptly sent. Good Quality visually and I was pleased. A+ seller

I've only seen part of the first season but,from what I've seen this show definately draws you in and fast.The name of the show sounds lame but, its ok.It starts with a suiside.And all of the deacesed freinds with their crazy lives try to cope and go about their lives.All in all this show is a 8 out of 10 PS:Don't let the name fool you.

i liked the suspence... i loved everything about it. there was nothing that i didnt like about it!! this is highly recommended!! i urge you to buy this dvd! it will keep you on your toes as to what happens next with who!!

I was pleased to find season 1 on Ebay. I got hooked on season 2 and really needed to cath up. I loved this boxed set, it has it all. 6 wonderful discs that introduces the women of Wisteria Lane. This set also has extended episodes that were cut for time issues when they aired. You can choose to see the extended or the ones that aired. Personally, I liked the extended, so I check which ones were on the disc and then in the set that was on, I would just switch over to that one, instead of the one that aired. It actually had some insight to them. As to the ones that aired kind of felt like they were missing something.

Deceided to buy this since I wanted to have the lst and second complete season. Would recommend this to anyone, funny, intertaining, and keeps you updated with all that happened within the seasons.

I missed the first season and wanted to see where my favorit ladys got started so I had to get the DVDs and will look at them a few time before giving them away to a friend.

I am addicted to Desperate Houswives and the first season is classic. As soon as i got it in, i sat down and watched most of it. The only thing i was dissapointed about was that i had to wait for my second season to come in before i could get up to date ;)

I first noticed Teri Hatcher as the girlfriend of Dr Sam Beckett, (Scott Bakula), in an early 1989 episode of Quantum Leap, the TV Show Series.

By the time Quantum Leap needed her back for the Donna Eleese role, Teri had gone on to playing Katherine 'Kiki" Tango in the TV series 'Tango & Cash'.

She went on to play Lois Lane in the TV series 'Lois and Clark, the New Adventures of Superman'.

Today we all know her as playing Susan in the hit TV show 'Desperate Housewives' !

The first season of 'Desperate Housewives' was great. Tina and I have both watched it from the first show till this past Sunday night. The second second season didn't disuade us from watching it, but it just wasn't the same!

This is the chance for all fans of the show to be able to view their favorite episodes over and over from the first season!

This is another ABC hit! Once you start this series you will not be able to stop watching. This show is all about what happens on this street and is told from a dead woman's perspective. Everything happens on this street from ppl dieing to love triangles. The rich couple on the street the model or even a son kidnapped and never knew his dad lived across the street. People are always coming and going and gossip is the deadliest of all sins on this show! Some characters even find out later in other seasons that the have a daughter that they never knew exsisted. That happily married couple needless to say has a few problems of their own, but that come later in another season! I hope you enjoy, I do every sunday! Beware once you start you won't stop!

If you like the Housewives stories and missed "any" of the first season...then you need to catch up!!!!! This is the way to do it. I bought this set for myself, because I "LOVE" the series, the actors, and actresses!!! The drama and wonder of what will they do next is better than any Daytime Soap Opera!!
