Cinderella (2005, DVD)

I've always loved Cinderella since I was a young girl and am very glad to have it on DVD to watch anytime I want!

The movie describes in a fine manner the different personalities of people from the very rich to the very poor. The very spoiled, lazy, and ill-mannered sisters are typical of a child given too much and not taught the importance of value and hard work. The cruel and heartless Step-Mother takes advantage of her stepdaughter through extremely hard work which in turn makes her own daughters lazy and selfish.

All of her ill treatment still doesn't change the heart of Cinderella. She's loving, compassionate and willing to do her best in spite of her circimstances. Your heart is happy to see her finally receive the blessings of life and a man that truly loves her.

What a great classic Disney movie! My toddler loves princesses, but this is the movies she watches over & over. Great songs, and nothing 'scary' makes it a fantastic choice - enjoy!!

This is a great restoration. The movie was wonderful from the start but Disney has outdone itself with this restoration. The story line is beautiful. It love this version of Cinderella.

How can you not like Cinderella? The delightful mice, the evil cat and the wicked stepmother and sisters. I liked it all. I bought it because the one I had was taped off TV and getting very fuzzy. I took my children to see it every time they brought it back to the theaters.

I bought the tape about one month ago, i was so happy to receive it because it was in perfect condition, totally brand new and it arrived perfectly on time. Overall, Im satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this movie as a Christmas gift for my niece who loves everything Disney (especially the Princesses). This was the one "classic" princess movie that she did not have. I knew the price would be cheaper than a retail store and the quality was just as good. This is a great fairy-tale. I appreciate the movie also because it is much more "wholesome" compared to a lot of the other junk on TV and movies nowadays.

This was one of my favorite movies when I was little and so I've decided to share the movie with my four-year-old daughter. Surprisingly my 9 and 10-year-old sons really enjoy the movie too!

This is a classic I want to share with my children and my childrens children. A true timeless classic.

I found the picture quality and sound was far superior on the dvd. Color was fantastic and my daughter loved how you could find her favorite scenes much faster on the dvd. An all time classic!

what I liked most about this DVD, is the remastered quality for both picture and sound (compared to the VHS version). and the bonus features on how this timeless tale had come to life for Disney.
my only dislike about it, is that it should have offered a widescreen feature to enhance a more cinematic feel to the movie.
I chose to buy it on Ebay because of the great price offered for this title,
given that Disney had put it back into their "vault" (meaning we won't see it re-released for who knows how long) and I didn't get a copy, while they were still in stores.

I decided to purchase it for my collection. Upon recieving it I opened it to notice a big chunk in the middle of the DVD , causing it not to play. I contacted seller only to find out that she was no longer an e-bay member.

This Cinderella DVD was ordered after I realized it was the first or second movie I saw in a theater as a child in the 1950's. I wanted my great-grandaughter, Ari'yah, 3 years old, to feel that same magic. When I was about 6 years old the Disney movies started coming out in the theater, and it was such a bewitching time in my life to see Snow White, Cinderella, Pinocchio, and Old Yeller become a part of my personal life. We didn't have dolls, or games, anything but little records to remind us of these movies. We played those records over and over. Like "Biddy Bobidy Boo" from Cinderella.

After receiving the Cinderella DVD, I found that it flipped and skipped when played. I wrote a message to the Seller immediately, who graciously offered another movie because the Cinderella movie was sold out. I chose Snow White because it was my other special movie. The DVD came promptly, but it hasn't been played yet. My Ari'yah is coming to stay with me today, so I'm sure we will play it tonite.

Grandparents today have to try to create the same magic we felt as a child, and to me the magic was in my imagination and playing pretend things. We'll be trying to create our own magic on this visit.

I thought this was a very well remastered Disney video. It was purchased for my 6-year-old daughter for Christmas, as Cinderella is her favorite princess. It is a Disney classic, and it's a nice addition to our collection, although not my personal favorite Disney movie. I personally like Sleeping Beauty better, but it's more of a matter of personal preference than movie quality.

I love Disney movies and this is one of the best. I had wanted to buy it for a while and found it to be reasonably priced.

Very pleased with purchase. It came in two days and was in excellent condition. The movie was exactly as it was represented and were happy with the sellers and would highly recommend others to trust and purchase other items from this seller.

I thought it was an original. I thought maybe it was a dvd that someone opened, copied for themselves, then sold to me. Boy, was I niave. I would rather have bought a used dvd than a pirated dvd.

My husband bid on a Cinderella DVD for me. He thought it was actually a new DVD, in a real case, like any other you would buy in a store. We were very disappointed when we received the item. It was acutally just a burned copy of the movie and it wasn't even in a real case. Instead, it was in a plastic sleave. The item discription said "new," and I'm sure the actual DVD that it was burned on was new, but the description was misleading, and my husband thought it was actually the real thing. The description should have clearly stated that it was a burned copy, whether that is legal to do or not. We would have never bought it had we known it was burned. I was very disappointed and I would never buy from this person again. I don't know if I would ever even bid on a DVD from Ebay again b/c I'm sure there are a lot of other sellers who are misleading. I paid too much money to just get a burned copy of the movie. Don't ever buy DVD's from this seller, and carefully read descriptions. We learned our lesson.

I went on ebay to find Disney DVDs for my little girl. I wanted an original and not a bootleg or copy. I like the fact that this was an original disc in its original packaging and art. When I received it, I was surprised at how nice it was. It was practically brand new! It was exactly as it was decribe on the listing. I was very happy with the quality and price of this purchase.

This product was exactly as described. It was affordable and lived up to the expectation that I had. I would definately buy a product of this nature again. My daughter loves it so much that we got our money out of it within the first couple of days.

I have always liked the Disney pictures ever since I was a little girl and I have bought these movies for my grandchildren so that they could enjoy them to then I thought I would treat myself to a few of them especially the story of Cinderella.I enjoyed them and felt like a little girl for a little while.

This is a wonderful movie for girls, women. I watched this first whaen I was little and it was majic. Later I watched it with my daughter, she tinks is wonderful! Now I watch it redone with my granddaughter and she calls it our movie! It a wonderful movie full of hopes and dreams come true. A true classic and a true wonder....

I love this DVD! It is so romantic and fun. While my kids enjoy this movie, I enjoy watching it with them, as well. The storyline is good, the animation is fantastic. I love the Disney restored movies.
