I purchased this game for my grandson who is 9 years old.
Unfortunately, the game did not properly work in his Game Boy so it was returned to the Seller for full refund.

This game is very interactive and a little different than the saphire and ruby version. Almost the same, but there are differences. It makes the experience just a little different. It is a great RPG game for anyone. Even adults. Even if its just to pass the time a little faster. Great, great game.

Very fast delivery but I wanted my son to have time to play and test this out before posting a review. The game works great, exactly as described and all pokemon are 100% legit.

The shipping took about a month because of some mess up from their part and the communication was bad too.

i love the dragons in emerald especially raquaza, salamence, and latios!!! I look forward to seeing what the shiny pokemon look like. I also cant wait to try the deoxy since that i think is most powerful pokemon.

This game is great and has a lot of replay value! It still has most of the original Pokemon and many many new ones!

While most people above the age of 14 might say that Pokemon is for children and not worth your time I have to strongly disagree. A lot of people can get joy out of this cute little game. It's harmless in most any way so there's no blood, swearing, or nudity/sex of course. The only thing that might worry even the strictest of parents would be the violence. Dueling fictional monsters against one another in the hopes of becoming the master trainer of the Pokemon Universe (at least until the next title.)
The graphics for a Gameboy advanced game are on the spot and the music is alright, but does get old after a while if you're like me and treasure the score of a video game. I highly suggest this game to a parent looking for something they can get their child, or just someone who holds an open mind to gaming and would like something to do. Perfect for passing the time.

My boys like the game and the challenges. They each have the game and can battle against each other. We bought this one since it was in the original box.

The game was new in unopened packaging as advertised.

It's something my wife played on our grandson's gameboy. She enjoyed so much she just had to have a gameboy and the Pokemon Emerald Version to play on it.

It will make a great valentines gift.

My eight year old son gives it a good. He likes it and plays it, but it is not one of his favorites.

Ithought it is a good game for nintendo ds, but it's for game boy anyway my son likes it. We found this good deal from ebay which is the good source to buy good used or new everything at the right prices.

I can't actually "review" the above purchase because I never received the item. I paid for nothing. I contacted the seller which resulted in nothing as well. Therefore, I am VERY UNHAPPY!

I bought the game Pokemon Emerald for my son. He loves pokemon and thinks he has to have all the games. He loves this game and there is no dislike about it.

I bought this for my son who's now in 1st grade..he's a big Pokemon fan and had seen this game at summer camp. He loves it!!! He plays it for hours at a time! The graphics and colors on it are very good. And the music is much better than that computerized music that you hear on some games! If you have a Pokemon fan, I definitely recommend this game.
