Great for the kids , I haven't seen them since I got it. I also like the extra features it has such as internet availability and the 4 GB memory stick is great for saving any information.

THE PSP has a whole bunch of features. it has videos, movies, music, games, demos, saved data, internet, internet radio, skype(cellphone service only for psp slims), photos, and you can also buy a gps, camera, digital tv tuner that will work for the psp. great graphics. and it's portable!

I bought a used handheld PSP. THe system has great graphics & picture for game play or for the movies. I like it for how versitile it is. YOU can play games, movies, music, or go onto the web browser. It can do alot more then other handheld game systems. Games are not a bad price either. Has stock battery which gives 4 hours of game play , which ain't to bad. Can plug into home outlet & keep playing if you want. Also has USB cable to download music/movies & games. Have no dislikes about the system. Bought this system for more portiable gaming.GRAB & PLAY!

The Sony PSP was brand new when we got it and it was definitely a great investment. It serves our purposes well, we travel a lot so it provides entertainment of a large range. Now there are tons of games and movies that are available out there. The best part about it is that it has awesome graphics. You can compare the PSP to PS2 like you could compare a desktop to a laptop. The PSP has the same features except it is portable.

The screen resolution is awesome and can keep people from all ages entertained, even more importantly it can keep kids entertained. The only problem was in the car only one person could enjoy a movie because the volume was a little poor, but we bought this sound adapter and it improved the quality of sound to my liking. The PSP is very comfortable to hold, Versatile and easy to use.

We really recommend this product!!

This was the perfect purchase for a 10 year old boy! He takes it with him and is entertained for hours. It was in great condition! He is thrilled! Glad I was shopping on ebay!!!!!!

Here I will list all the pros and cons of the PSP handheld system

PSP pros:

1.PS2 quality graphics (128 bit I believe, give or take a bit or 2)

6. can effectively port most ps2 and ps1 games (no dual analog so not everything can be ported, although they will no doubt find a way around this.)

10. comes with a rechargeable battery (contrary to popular belief)
11. charges in less than half the time the DS does

15. can be used in a way not intended without the use of emulators (i.e. scanning memos on your computer and porting them to your PSP in a Word document, making it a phone book!)

19. Can turn on instantly from the off position (you flip the switch and a quarter second later you are playing)

PSP Cons:

1.every once in a while on certain games pixels will burn out and come back 5 seconds later good as new. Not a big problem but it does get annoying.
2. Battery not as powerful as DS or GBA, 5-10 hours of gameplay per charge
3. Does not get too loud, I recommend (sp?) playing with headphones if you were looking forward to killing your hearing, with headphones it is really loud.
4. You have to reset the internal clock if you let the battery get to 0%
5. loading times, just like the consoles.
6. The compatible memory sticks are quite a rip off
7. Some what more fragile (and better looking) than the DS

I have been a fan of handheld gaming systems for a long time. I had the original Gameboy, and subsequentally, all of its future versions. I also have a DS, which I admit doesnt get much playing time.

With that being said, the PSP is the best one that I have ever owned. It has a variety of quality games that no other system, including the normal household consoles has.

Positives:
The unit is very light and made solid. The buttons work much better than the old version, they have a much more responsive, tactile feel. The screen is absolutely amazing. It gets extremely bright so you can see what you are doing even outside during the day. It has so many options, and integrates with the PS3 very well. In the future, you will be able to stream games from your PS3 to your PSP anywhere in the world as long as you have a wifi connection. Its hard to comprehend how cool this is. I have about a dozen movies and 40 GB of music on my PS3's hard drive. If I am connected to WiFi, I can use the PSP to access the main menu of my PS3 and use it to play those music and movie files directly on my PSP. There are many other things that the PSP can do, but for the sake of keeping this review compact, I will leave the rest up to you.

Negatives:
The battery life is short. If you are going on a longer trip, you will definitely need an extra battery or a car charger. They make extended batteries as well that will improve the life greatly. Just dont think this thing will last anywhere near the DS' life. The screen and the processing power is much more demanding. The analog stick is another thing that leaves much to be desired. Its the only handheld that offers an analog stick, so we cant complain too much but it is not easy to keep your thumb from sliding off of. Im not going to dwell on it though because its been complained about many times before. Finally, the cost. It is not the cheapest thing in the world, but once you actually get it and see what it can do, you will absolutely feel like it is worth the money. I put this under negative because of the initial sticker price is a little more than one would think for a handheld, but dont worry, this baby delivers.

Dont let the negatives keep you from buying this thing. It is much better than the DS in my opinion. The games are based on an older demographic and have much better graphics, sound and traditional style of gameplay.

I used to have the PSP1000 and, eventhough they have the same funtions, the difference on weight and space makes the PSP2000 (SLIM) a MUST HAVE for young people like me who wants to have a "multimedia" center in the palm of their hands.
