Mary Poppins (2004, DVD)

My wife and I have always loved this Disney movie and when I got the chance to bid on a 40th anninversary edition, I jumped on it. I was thrilled I won it. It was delivered to me very quickly and was in perfect condition. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and the seller I bought it from.

I am not very confident in buying products from internet, so after having my friends opinion I wanted to have my first try. I felt very happy that I succeeded. The service is very efficient and product received in good condition. So I was encouraged myself to buy other products.

I bought this DVD because my daughter received tickets for her birthday to the Broadway Musical version of Mary Poppins. She has something to compare the play too. She Loved the play and loves watching the dvd.. her favorite part is the dance where they sing A Step In time!

I bought this movie because I have loved it since seeing it as a child.
It is a wonderful story with great music and dancing.
It is a lot of fun and good for all ages.

This was for my Niece's for Christmas. My daughter loves it and my niece's had it on VHS so I wanted to update theirs.

I have loved Mary Poppins since I was a child and the movie gets better every time I see it! A movie every child should see!

I purchased the movie Mary Poppins "like new" and it skips about 8 minutes in the middle of the show. In addition, it is clearly a copy with another language at the beginning. This was not noted on the listing. I am not sure how to get in touch with the seller. Will you let me know how I can follow up directly with the seller?

This is a cute whimsical movie that has enough action and movement to sustain even a younger child's attention. My children have enjoyed this movie and it's songs for several years.

I gave this version 4 out of 5 because of a techincal flaw in this particular DVD print. There are several scenes that are pieced together poorly and you see blips in the picture where the poor cutovers take place. Other than that, it's a delightful family movie.

I love this movie, it was one of my childhood favorites. The price was excellent and it arrived very quickly and in mint condition. I would definitely buy from this seller again!

Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dike give stellar performances in this fun musical movie. The story, about two children whom Mary Poppins comes to Nanny, is very creative - involving toys that come to life and jumping into a sidewalk painting for an adventure. One of the best Disney non-animated movies in history and one that the whole family will enjoy!

Another great classic disney movie. Love the creativity and singing seen/heard throughout the movie. Great story and well acted. Really gets the imagination going.

Good product, no scratches, fast delivery, and good price. Good movie, well described, nice photos, variety of options. However, there are too many businesses using E-Bay. I laked E-Bay better when more individuals were selling products than companies. Now these big retailers have flooded E-Bay and they charge higher prices than individuals and they charge higher handling fees for shipping. E-Bay was a place where really good deals were common. Now E-bay is like shopping at a retail store where prices match that of normal stores.

This is a wonderful picture and a very good and Excellence movie for the entire family. And can also be a learning different thing about life and how to enjoy and love all of the things that you can do .

The DVD that came in the case has someone talking thru the entire movie. Contacted the seller and she did ask how she can resolve the issue but I would only want my money back and I would waste over half of it sending it back to her.

There is only one word that comes close to accurately describing the enchanting Mary Poppins, and that term was coined by the movie itself: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even at 2 hours and 20 minutes, Disney's pioneering mixture of live action and animation (based on the books by P.L. Travers) still holds kids spellbound. Julie Andrews won an Oscar as the world's most magically idealized nanny ("practically perfect in every way," and complete with lighter-than-air umbrella), and Dick Van Dyke is her clownishly charming beau, Bert the chimney sweep. The songs are also terrific, ranging from bright and cheery ("A Spoonful of Sugar") to dark and cheery (the Oscar-winning "Chim Chim Cher-ee") to touchingly melancholy ("Feed the Birds"). Many consider Mary Poppins to be the crowning achievement of Walt Disney's career--and it was the only one of his features to be nominated for a best picture Academy Award until Beauty and the Beast in 1991.

Such a classic. We have watched this movie nonstop since it arrived. My kids were so excited when we recevied the DVD.

Mary Poppins is just as wonderful to watch as I did when I first saw the movie as a child. It has wonderful characters, singing and animation. The color is wonderful through out the movie.

The 2004 edition of Mary Poppins should be top digital quality and bet this was very poor quality. I will never again order a DVD from Asia!
