Double Live - Brooks, Garth (Cassette 1998)

This album showcases what Garth does best,perform live.I have seen him live 7 times in the last 9 years and the man just keeps getting better.I especially love the song he did for his mom "Your Song".I've heard him say he wanted to write a song for her but it was something that he was just too close to.He may have not written it,but he sings it from the heart.That's one thing I've always liked about Garth is he is a momma's boy and proud of it.The duet with him and Trisha "Wild As The Wind" shows off both of their incredible voices,these two people were put on this earth to sing together.I can hardly wait for their duet album,I know it's going to be good before I hear one note.The 3rd new song off this album is one for the fans "Tearin It Up,And Burnin It Down",this is a definite party song with plenty of drums and bass for the pop fans and plenty of fiddle for the country fans.And finally,my favorite track is "Unanswered Prayers",I love the way he just stands back and lets the audience sing it to him!This is mine and my wife's favorite Garth song together.I highly recommend this cd,even if you're not a Garth fan and stumbled onto this review by mistake,pick this one up and you won't be disappointed.
