Pros:
great Soul/R&B
Cons:
?
This album is great. They guys can really sing. House of Music is a great soul album with a twist here and there. The hit single "Let's Get Down", featuring DJ Quik adds a nice "new school" touch to this by-the-book Soul/R&B album. Songs like "Holy Smokes and Jeez Whiz" and "Tossin' and Turnin'" remind me a bit of the great Marvin Gaye. They're great for "gettin down" to, or just reading the newspaper on Sunday morning. Get up and dance songs like "Let's Get Down" and "Annie May" make the album much more versitile. The CD can satisfy the soul brother, the rap junkie and even the just-wanna-dance all in one spin. Tony Toni Tone have brought the soul back into the business with House of Music.
