I won't go into every song otherwise the review would be way too long! But i will mention some of the many highlights from this much anticipated show.
The show opens with RELEASE, which i've always considered to be the definitive PJ opener. Between the music and Eddie's soaring voice i think this is definitely one of the best versions ever of this song. It doesn't quite rank up there with the Seattle 2 version but it definitely blows me away. The music especially is excellent on this one, something sounds different but definitely in a good way. A great way to start the show.
EVENFLOW is great as usual; it's a song that i never tire of hearing. And once again Mike McCready excels himself, producing an awe-inspiring solo that knocks my socks off. Could this man BE any more talented?!
SAVE YOU, from the band's latest album RIOT ACT has quickly become a crowd-pleaser and Vedder's usual growling is here in fine form! A great rockin' song! No on can say F**k quite like Eddie!
The rest of CD 1 has the usual crowd-pleasing songs such as GIVEN TO FLY, DAUGHTER & BETTERMAN. However, it's CD 2 that really makes this bootleg worth buying. The band pull out such as BLOOD & BREATH, while doing a few covers such as KNOW YOUR RIGHTS & DON'T BE SHY. Also, my all time favourite song is included...BLACK. This song is the greatest rock epic of the 1990s if you ask me...breathtaking. And what better way to end it than with the song that made them famous, ALIVE?! Probably the song that represents Pearl Jam the most, it's a great way to end a powerful show.
There is nothing wrong with his show in my opinion. From start to finish it's an immensely enjoyable experience, bringing out a number of emotions. This is a must for any Pearl Jam fan.
