Pros:
Great mixture of classic talent's

Cons:
None

Once upon a time, I was watching television, and somewhere, I remembered reading, "The only thing to watch on TV tonight is Willie Nelson's Celebration of his 70th birthday." Perhaps, I thought.

I switched over, and saw Shania Twain trying to sing with Willie Nelson! She obviously needs singing lessons. I should let you know, believe it or not, I do not like country music. As I describe what I saw on TV, you will notice that every song on the TV program is on the CD presently being reviewed.

Well, anyhow, Shania and Willie singing "Blue Eyes Crying in The Rain." Ok, well, what was with those ear muffs she had to use?

Now that that was over, One of my all time favorite singers came on stage, Paul Simon, Home, where my love lies waiting silently for me.... Everyday is an endless stream of cigaretts and magazines... Wow, Willie singing Homeward Bound with Paul Simon, very very classic. One of the best renditions I have ever heard. Tonight I will sing my songs again, play the game, and pretend, sings Willie, just awesome.

Toby Keith? Who is this guy? And, Beer For My Horses? Is that not animal abuse? What do we have here, drunk horses. Neat. Actually, now that I listen, it really is not about having alcoholic horses. Hey, Willie Nelson is awesome, get rid of Toby, Saddle up your boys and draw our line, when the gunsmoke settles sing a victory tune? Raise up your glass against evil forces, yes, go Willie.

Crazy you might say? Yes, Crazy is the next song, sung with, you guessed it, Diana Krall and Elvis, Elvis Costello that is. Crazy for feeling so lonely. Not bad. I feel like I am in a dark nightclub like in the movies.

To all the girls I loved before, no I am not making a dedication, I am describing the next song. Now, I don't know much about Wyclef Jean, but a Reggee rendition of this song is something else, you have to hear it. Groovy, what more can I say?

Norah Jones, can you imagine, she can play piano. Wait, she can sing too, now she does "I Don't Want to get Over You" Justice. She should get the Wurlitzer Prize for this song. Willie not needed for this song.

ZZTOP? Yes, they are included too, holy beards. Wonder what is in those beards? She Loves My Automobile. She loves it so much, she don't care if he is stoned or sloppy drunk! Rock and Roll. Another awesome song. Should be put in the Rock and Roll hall of fame. I always wanted to see ZZTOP and now I remember why.

Shelby Lynn? She is flying too close to the ground with a duet with Willie ( Of Course ) Tough act to follow, Willie and ZZTOP. She can sing though. Sad song eh? I need a beer for this one. This song drives me to drinkin.

Is there more you ask? Yes!

Leon Russell and Ray Charles, singing A Song For You. Amazing guy this Ray Charles. Willie Not Needed. Willie, during this performance is visuably shaken, and looks to be overwhelmed by Ray Charles, who can blame him. Very good tune, and believe you should hear it. Ray Charles, a little before my time, but I am smart enough to see he is something special.

I Couldn't Believe It Was True, when I saw John Mellencamp!

Who is Kenny Chesney? I am not much of a country fan, like I stated earlier, lets get rid of Kenny, and have Willie sing, "Last thing I Needed First Thing This Morning." Good song though. Ok, enough trying to sing Kenny.

Run That By me One More Time (With Ray Price) Ok, I will, There is 15 Tracks, all of them great.

Is there more you might say? Yes, one more song, and the best one of the bunch I think. Steven Tyler breaks out the harmonica for a awesome rendition of One Time Too Many. Him and Willie look like they have been singing together for years. Very nice.

I cheated and lied, I took love for granted, but its all in the past, I won't make the same mistake twice.

If you are wondering where I am going with this, it is the fact that all the songs on that television show, are on this CD.
