Pros:
Everything, Harrison Ford,Sean Connery,Kate Capshaw ,plot and action
Cons:
NOTHING!!!!
The Indiana Jones Trilogy consists of Temple of Doom, Raiders of the Lost Ark and finally The Last Crusade. Every child growing up in the late 80's and early 90's loved these movies. They have a lot of action, romance, more action evil villains and finally even more action.
Raiders of the Lost Ark took the myth of the Ark of God, within this ark is the wrath of God. Theres the usual plot of Indiana Jones finds a girl in need, saves her ,he tries to get both of them out of trouble ,saves the day and gets the girl in the end.
The second, The Temple of Doom mainly does consists of the same storyline, but involves a different plot and characters. The Temple of Doom has the classic scene of Jones running from a big boulder, and rolling underneath it. The Temple of Doom involves Jones as a archaeologist in a university and discovering information about a lost statue. He goes off to some far-off place in Africa to rescue this priceless statue from its ancient booby-trap. He rescues it, and finds himself in a adventure of his own. He travels to a long forgotten palace. Uncovers a mystery and defeats it.
The final part of the trilogy is The Last Crusade with Sean Connery as Indiana Jones senior. Connery brings a comedic relief to the movie along with his excellent acting ablity. This last part of the trilogy ( in my opinion is the best of the three) involves a significant part of American and world history, the Nazis'. Jones again is a archaeologist teacher called away to find a priceless piece of history, in this case its the cup of Christ. Jones search takes him around the world Italy and Berlin. The myth of the cup of Christ is that anyone who drinks from the cup will live forever. The Last Crusade weaves history into the pages of the movie, making it so appealing to almost anyone. Theres action and romance, but most of all the action. Gun fights, kissing scenes, a test at the end of bravery and stength.
Speilberg did a great job of all three Indiana Jones movies. He did a great job developing the plot and choosing the perfect characters to portray icons that will live in film-making history forever. Indiana Jones is a man that is smart, powerful, muscular, intelligent and overall the perfect action figure that in my opinion is the best trilogy in history and will always be. If you loved the Indiana Jones series you might want to rent The Goonies also directed by Speilberg. It has many of the same features as the Indiana Jones series, but this time they are kids. They go on a adventure of a lifetime.
One of the things that attracted me to this series is that you can live out your life log fantasy of being a action hero, traveling to far-off places, or perhaps finding a ancient treasure and maybe stopping some bad guys while still getting the girl in the end. The Indiana Jones series has everything romance, a boat load of action, ancient artifacts, thrill packed chase scenes, and evil villains. So, if any of these qualities in a movie then run out a rent all three Indiana Jones trilogies.
