My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2003, DVD)

I love Greece, and all of the humor that the movie displayed on Greece was rather funny. The movie has some unforgettable one liners that will be quoted for years. It was a tremendous love story, because it portrayed characters that would do anything for their relationships to work, and were willing to adjust. Even the Father in the story was willing to let go of his Daughter and allow her, her wings to fly, and discover new life horizons. I loved it. "See, thats Greek there you go."

I like the movie, and I wanted to own it. It plays well, and I enjoyed watching it. The movie played well and I didn't have any problems with it. It was a great buy and I was glad that everything went smoothly and everything worked out well.

this movie came extremely quickl. It was in excellant condition. It didn't look like it was every watched before. We are now enjoy it in our home.

This movie is so funny, I can't stop watching it, everytime it comes on tv. it's a feel good, family movie, great for all ages!

GOOD COMEDY. BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I MISSED THE MOVIE WHEN IT WAS PLAYING AT THE LOCAL THEATERS. WANTED TO SEE THE MOVIE. SAW IT LISTED ON EBAY AT A DECENT PRICE ANDS BOUGHT IT AND ENJOYED IT.

I had the opportunity to see this video on my on Demand cable. I, being a waitress for over 33 years, in Greek Restaurants, could relate to the movie. I have had the opportunities to be included in many Greek Traditions and yes their childrens dating options were viewed as strictly greek add no other nationality.
So this movie is one that I felt the need to add to my growing collection.
When I saw this movie being offered and seeing that the price was absolutely wonderful, I could not resist purchasing and being able to preserve this wonderful video into my library.
To buy anything from EBay has become a major way of my new and improved shopping habits. I am a true fan of Ebay and will continue to be so for the rest of my life.

This was one of the DVD's that my husband wanted for his birthday. I received it in perfect condition, just as described!

This is a hilarious movie! Good clean fun the entire family can enjoy! I really enjoy the authenticity and the flavor of this movie. For the most part it really sticks up for family values with a bit of fun, love, romance, and a whole lot of relatives thrown into the mix. I would recommend it for a family movie night. If you're a stickler for old fashion values, like me, the only draw-back I found with this movie is that the two main characters sleep together before they get married. Nothing inappropriate is shown, however, and other than that, My Big Fat Greek Wedding is a chart-topper on my movie list!

I bought this because I needed it for teaching purposes in a class I teach on cultural assessment.I could not find it at the price I bought it for locally or online. It took a little while to receive it. Otherwise, it was sealed and in perfect condition.It is very conveninent to have it sent to my mailbox.

I bought this movie because my daughter thought I would like it. Overall I did kind of like it but, I gave to someone who likes it more.

i like the characters, the plot, and the ending. It was funny and sweet all at the same time. the father of the bride was hilarious when he used windex as a cure all.

This is a great "chick flick" comedy. It is about a young Greek/American woman who lives with her parents and works at her father's restaurant. One day she sheds her mousy image, goes back to school and changes her career. The she meets and falls in love with a waspy professor and the meeting of families and wedding make for a very funny movie. The character's are very believable and you feel like one of their family. This is a movie you will watch over and over again.

This is a hysterically funny movie... almost all of it watchable by the whole family. (one sex scene). If you are from the more bombastic cultures.... you will fall out of the chair laughing. AND if you are from the more bombastic cultures and have married into a more staid culture... WOW! This is over the top and a delight... Don't miss this movie... even if you aren't from a bombastic or staid family culture! A real feel good movie...

My husband loved this movie,especially the Greek music.It was suitable for the whole family and we all enjoyed it.

It is a very clean movie and one that I enjoy watching. I am very picky about the movies I buy but this is one that made the cut and was added to my collection! It's definately a great "date" movie, my husband and I have enjoyed watching it together. It's funny, and real and leaves you with a smile on your face. I love the way that the groom is so in love with the bride and doesn't think twice about doing whatever it takes to make things go easier with her family. You don't see love like that much anymore.

After seeing this film at the theater, we had to have our own copy. We went from VHS to DVD. Any time we need a good hearty laugh we watch and thoroughly enjoy it. Great story, great acting on a low budget from an unknown writer at the time. For a good laugh, add it to your collection. A Must!!

A beautiful funny and charming story we can all identify with on some level. This story will have you laughing throughout -- a real "feel good" story about family and love -- the relativers may be Greek but we all have some just like em!

This movie is one of my FAVORITIES. I totally related to this movie. My hubby is Turkish & I went through the whole dating sceen exactly like this before meeting him.
An Arabic friend hooked me up with Several Un-Prospects; One guy looked like SEDAM HUSSIEN-had a wife & 8 kids back home. It TOOK all I had just to get though the MEAL without running for cover. Another guy could not even speak english had to have an interpetor; a wife & 2 kids back home.Strawberry red hair (to get a mental picture his hair line was like Charles Winchester on M*A*S*H)along with a beer belly.({Picture the sceen from "Look Who's Talking" when John Travolta was imagining himself married with kids with Kirsty Alley)He was dressed like that. That was the longest day of my life.
Any who, Totally one of my favorites; My husband has a big family as well 8 kids & he is a twin; THANK GOD! NO WIFE or KIDS bk home. He loves the grandma.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding was Wonderful!! I had passed this movie by at the video store so many times I can't count. Didn't think it would be something I would enjoy. But I was so wrong! This is a GREAT comedy. It's a story about a Greek girl that just didn't really like "all the stuff" that went along with being Greek. She saw herself, I think, as "not pretty", not popular, just Not anything. Just a Greek girl & plain. Her father was just set on her meeting and marring a Greek man. Well, I won't let all the beans out of the bag. Watch it. If you like comedy and love stories, you'll like it. OH, and look for what her Dad does with Windex. Cracked me up.
