Amplified [PA] - Q-Tip (CD 1999)

Breath and Stop! That's what you have to do when you listen to Q-Tips new solo joint "Amplified". You'll love this so much that you may forget about the world around you stop everything else you were doing. Q-Tip gives it to you from start to finish. Of course, you probably already know about the two singles out now, "Vivrant Thing" and "Breath and Stop". If you don't, you must not have a radio, a television, and a pulse. At first these were the only songs I wanted to here on the album, but after listening to the whole thing on a road trip last week, I am a believer.

The best thing about this album is how cool it is. It gets you pumped up without the use of a swear word every other second. The songs are not about "pimpin' hoes", "jewlery and cars", or "killing". The album does not feature a billion other rappers (i.e. Master P). it's basically just Tip doing his thing, with Busta Rhymes on a hook in one song.

I have personal favorites on this album and it's not the two singles out now. For those of you who have yet to buy or hear "Amplified", try listening to the song before Vivrant Thing. that's my jam. so don't wait any longer to get Amplified. go to a store near you and get it now. Turn you radio up and sit back and enjoy.
