Pros:
Early appearance by movie star Pitt;
Cons:
One-line premise doesn't work as a story
If you want to see Brad Pitt shirtless in 1991 and playing the intellectual artist he would later style himself as, watch this. Otherwise, the story -- a herky-jerky yarn about a wife's best friend having a one-night stand with her high school beau -- is weak, ambling, and not very funny. Bill Pullman is cast as the bumbling math professor husband who pulls out his harmonica and annoys everybody. Larry Miller is great as an overblown Lothario who mixes conceit with conspiracy as he unravels the wife's plot.
