Whether you're sitting around doing work by yourself, throwing a party with some friends, eating dinner and need some background music, Bela assembled some fantastic bluegrass players to help him out. Providing upbeat and some slower tracks, the BlueGrass Sessions resembles a Kentucky Thunder album or some older Bill Monroe. Very different from Bela's other stuff, this album focuses on the banjo and its relationship to other bluegrass instruments (e.g. mandolin, upright bass, etc..) If you're just getting into instrumental music, especially bluegrass, this is one of those must-haves to add to your collection.
