I love this movie,and give it Two-Thumbs Up!,because in this movie Jillian and her sister Sally deal with adversity and changes.They realize that they are different from the other people,and strive to make it known,they might be different,but they are the same as everyone else.
I decided to buy this movie because I can relate with the characters,and have overcome alot of obstacles in my life,just as they have.Plus I love movies with these two actresses in it,all of their movies.

Practical Magic is one of my all time favorite October movies, that I have watch over and over since 1999. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as Sally and Gillian Owens (the Owens Sisters) are at their best in this 1999 PG13 Romantic "Witchy" Comedy about a family curse that dooms any man to an untimely death that falls in love with an Owens woman. The supporting cast (Dianne Wiest, Stockard Channing as the Owens Aunts), Adrain Quinn as the policeman and Gorman Visnjic as Jimmy) is delightful. It is a fun and amusing movie with a twist of Magic that isn't dark. I very much enjoyed this film and soundtrack. (the Midnight Margarita dance to is great!)

I have wanted to get this movie and when I saw it presented on TV I realized I had to have it. Ebay allows me the convenience of shopping at ease without the bother of searching through mountains of DVD's at the store. The price was really reasonable and shipping was fast.

Its about magicI like the movie because it's about magic. Sister's growing up together feeling each other's pain. Falling in love with a guy. Then the guy die's it so sad. But they learn how to move on be strong for the kids. It's a great movie that's why I bought it.

This movie is a easy Top 10 fave for me and my family.
There is not one performance in this picture that isn't touching and/or real in some way. Though this is a fun magic and witch picture, it's Not all Hocus Pocus.
It has real relationships with love and pain, add the hints of really strong women in tough situations and you have a movie that really draws you in..
I really can't say enough about this movie with it's whimsy and heartache.
It's just a perfect mix as are the casting of Bullock and Kidman as opposing sisters.
Weather you love it or hate it, It's easy to see that this is not just another campy halloween witch movie for the kiddies.
This year show them something with depth and love.. show them Practical Magic!

I love this movie,my vhs copy was getting old and I needed to replace it,I could not find a copy in the stores. as always I found it on ebay! the price was reasonable, it was brand new and I got it fast!!I always find what im looking for on ebay!! This is probably the most natural performance I have ever seen from Kidman. She really seemed to fit the part. This movie can do no wrong with Sandra Bullock, a kickbutt soundtrack, and a well written story. Definitely one you will watch over and over!
